I started going to this Wegmans location a little over 3 years ago. Boy has it gone downhill. Their prices are good, and I suspect thats a big part of the reason people shop here. However, they have some of the worst quality produce Ive found at any Wegmans. I shop Safeway for certain products and am always impressed by the quality of their produce compared to this "high end" grocery store. On more than one occasion Ive bought produce, such as green peppers, that look fantastic on the outside but once I cut in to them are rotting from the inside out. How does that happen? Looking to shop one Sunday morning? Dont expect most things to be restocked, that would be foolish. Ive saved the most damming thing for last: the customer service at this location is just terrible. On more than one occasion Ive had to return items to them that Ive discovered were open or damaged once I got home. Not once have I been greeted kindly by the staff, they have never apologized for any inconvenience, and just generally have an attitude about the process. Will I continue shopping here? Of course, what other choice do I have? But you might want to consider somewhere else for produce and check your sealed meat, cheeses, etc carefully before leaving.

I shop at many places but when I want to purchase organic products I go to Wegmans in Crofton. I recently purchased organic grass-fed chuck roast. I was excited to make pot roast for tonight. I opened the bag and it smelled terrible. The meat was not expired but smelled awful. I called the store and asked for the store manager. I was fired up and wanted to complain, since I drive 20 min to shop there. The store manager Patrick listened to my complaint, and asked me if I would like for him to bring me a new one. I was shocked. What? He was going to come to my house with a new chuck roast. I have never heard of such response. I have worked in retail management myself and I was pleasantly surprised for anyone to go out of their way to make things right. I couldnt have been happier and I will more than ever go back to Wegmans to shop there. Thank you Patrick for taking Customer Service to the next level!

I had a really bad customer experience today, Feb. 6, 2015 at Wegmans in Crofton. I had a full grocery cart of items and proceeded to a check out lane. After unloaded half the cart, the cashier told me: "Im closed!" Yes, she actually snapped. And that was it. For starters, the light was definitely on when I entered the lane. And the lane had not been closed off. But I was really put off by the way employees interact with customers. There was no "Im sorry Sir, Im shutting down my register..." Gee, I had only unloaded half a cart... If that ever happens again, I think I will leave the full cart at the register and leave. Unfortunately it was a whole weeks worth of groceries which took more than an hour to find. But it may have been worth leaving...

nice store with everything you need. Usually busy, but has lots of registers open. Why knock off a star? Their customers. Self important and rude... of course, not all. Just the blonde volvo lacrosse moms and their ilk. Self important idiots, that let the maid take the day off. They stop in the middle of the aisles. Like theyre trying to provoke a confrontation so they can say "dont you know who I am???!!!!" Combine that with the slightly too narrow aisle configuration that stores are going to and any stocking that is going on and its at best 1 way stop and go shopping. Lock in the 4 wheel drive and hit it up on a snowy day. Though soccer mom may have paid the 200k for the G series. Shed never take darling Caleb out in the snow.

Why are they putting bacon in a Caesar salad? I called the guy in prepared foods and he said its the corporate recipe, but trying to talk to corporate is impossible. If you dont eat red meat, you can forget most of their salads. They also dont seem to have much fish in prepared foods except for tilapia which is not only unhealthy but tastes awful. Try finding salmon thats not been farm raised. Their shelves in the dessert section are half empty. The store itself feels dark, and the help is grumpy. Ive shopped at a Wegmans with excellent customer service so this one is a letdown. Id rather drive out to Annapolis and shop at Whole Foods.

Amazing one-stop shopping experience. The store carries both bulk packaged foods and individual items, as well as a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. The store has an application for smart phones that allows you to search items and will show you what aisle to find a specific product in, as well as the price of each item that you search for. The only downfall of the store is the hot food bar, which is only worth it within the first few minutes of them putting it out. Otherwise you usually get dry, sad food products that are a mere shell of their former selves.

Wegmans is always one of my favorite places to shop. I end up going in for something, and almost always find a better version than I expected. The food is always tasty, and they have several options for things to eat right there in store. Their selection of fresh easy to make meals is amazing as well, just pop it in the oven for an hour or so and youve got the majority of a meal. Also Ive heard great things about how they treat their employees, and is the only store Ive heard them announce over the intercom to remind customers and employees to stretch.

This grocery store SUCKS! The vegetables and produce are of horrible quality. See the pic of the greens beans with all the brown spots. The selection of fresh produce is limited. The lines at the registers are long and items are slow to be restocked. I watched them Pour out oranges from a box that had been clearly it for some time since they were reshape by being stuffed in it. It was very promising when it first opened but has gone downhill. Stay away and hopefully they will close and a more upscale grocery store will move in its place.

The Wegmans in Gambrills, is my go to place. If I need anything they always have it. I was in a crunch for Cupcakes for my sons birthday on Wednesday big number 5 so all he wanted was Leo cupcakes from the teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not only was I able to order them on a monday to be ready on Tuesday afternoon the young lady Lillie was happy to make sure they were all Leo with the Blue scarf. Thank you so much I know this will make his birthday very special with his classmates at Right Start Academy!!!!!!!

I LOVE this place! The produce is as good as I get from the farm stands, and the people are so helpful. I highly recommend the catering department which I used recently for a large gathering. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. I also found just the right floral arrangements after looking in several other places and the florist wrapped them up for me as if I was spending a fortune (they were $10 each!) While youre there, try the pizza and get some french bread, you"ll be so happy you did.
