I love Giant normally and ship there a lot in Maryland and Virginia. I hate such a terrible experience that I actually left my item and walked out. Ive been a cashier and am very patient. The extra wait wouldnt have killed me but I was so unhappy with the whole experience that I refused to spent one cent there to keep that place going. I will never set foot there again. I will cross the street to Safeway. Hope they close this place down. I dont blame the cashier since they were working hard but this place is the WORST run Giant I have seen in my life. They give the rest of the Giant chains a bad name. Wish I could give this place a negative rating.

The cashier Jonathan was extremely rude. My fiance and I were there late and he said we should have went to Safeway. We then walked down to the exit on the other side of the store when he finally told us that we needed to exit back on the opposite side of the store instead of letting us out where we were. Once we exited he yelled out the door, thanks for exiting out the other door Have a great night then started laughing. My fiance walked back in and spoke to his manager Richard about his associates poor attitude. I hope actions are taken against this associate following this matter. I plan to speak to corporate in regards to it if not.

I have to commend this Giant in Dunkirk. The cashiers and management are well mannered and respectful. One cashier in particular, I believe her name is Ashley, is one of the sweetest cashiers I have experienced. I watched her respond respectfully to the lady in front of me after she was entirely rude to Ashley. Shes very fast and efficient. Every time my wife and I are in the store she has the fastest line. This Giant has given me a reason to look forward to grocery shopping.

The little girl working register 3 at 5pm on Dec. 31 was completely rude and down right nasty. When I complained about her to the older gray haired lady at the customer service desk who said she was "kind of the manager" she akted like she didnt even care. Unfortunately Ill have to take my business across the street to Safeway which is not as convenient but I wont be treated that way.

This store has great deals, and they honor online coupons that do not come off at the register. They often have store specials on baby care items that are not necessarily in the flier. The have a free healthy snack for the little ones and my toddler literally goes bananas. Best of all, they have a wonderful staff. Everyone I have ever talked to has been very friendly and helpful.

The sore itself is very clean the staff is very helpful and they actually show you where the items are in the store the produce the bakery and the meat was just above standards but I cant stand the fact that they only have one cashier to ring you up it just drives me nuts that they cant afford to pay for another cashier

Aweful. Prehistoruc computers that breakdown so frequently its absurd. High prices to along with it and Im sure they dont pay their help well at all. The people that work there are almost always nice despite having to deal with a dinosaur of a sales system. This store chain sucks.
