Normally when I travel I can count on Food Lion for a clean bathroom, fresh and delicious Food Lion brand roast beef, fresh sliced cheese, 2 pretty apples and i can get back on the road, whith a wonderful fresh and low cal meal. Didnt happen at Williamsburg Va by Premium Outlet. The bathroom smelled disgusting and looked worse. After calmly counting to 200, I was still standing at the deli while watching a male and female employee do something with green icing through the window. Yes, they saw me and called no one. But did keep talking to each other. Walked away, but was able to purchase my apples. When i commented all this to a store employee, she informed that she uses the bathroom next door at Subway. Pitiful, plum pitiful.

Vacationing at Fords Colony (Williamsburg), we first visited Ukrops because its reviews and promotions made it seem nice, while the reviews we originally saw for Food Lion were poor. When we just wanted some cheap store brand soda, though, we went to Food Lion after all. Their produce looked excellent, the store was clean and uncrowded, and the prices were MUCH better than at Ukrops. I wish wed gone there first. Food Lion doesnt have the range of gourmet items available at Ukrops, but generally had a good selection, and I wanted to post a decent review for what seemed to be a quite decent grocery store!

Called the store asking for a certain item gay name of produce. State they have drive over to store & they dont even have that brand. Guy at customers service counter called the back for this produce & they didnt know even what brand they have. She was sorry & its didnt even bother her. Im trying another store. Its ashamed this store is just up the street from my house. Wonr be going back in there anytime soon.

Food Lion split into three brands, adding bare-bones, buy-your-own-bag Bottom dollar - and the upscale, full service, organic section, life-style brand of Bloom. I shopped this location tonight and it is now one of the Bloom stores. Very friendly, courteous staff, great variety, and still very good bargains on some items (asparagus was $1/lb).

This store is so clean and the prices are pretty good. They dont always have the stock that the larger store has but thats okay because they usually have something thats very comparable. The people are very friendly and very helpful.

Speaking Truthfully, New York resident and we visit this location when at the time share. .. Excellent and friends day behavior and assistance.... Consistently helpful and we receive a " Lions share " of savings... ha

Food Lion is good for last minute pick ups, but the selection isnt the greatest. The meat quality is hit or miss. They dont have a lot of deli selections if you are picky on your deli meat.

I prefer Walmart better, due to the selection. But food lion can fulfill your needs. The staff are very friendly here, and they are the reason I come back.
