Best supermarket ever! Their food is always fresh and awesome selection. They have so many delicious already prepared meals (e.g., salmon pesto, lobster bake, meatloaf, cod fillets, seasoned steak or porkchops, etc.) and all the sides to go with them. Their deli counter has a great selection (my son loves their yellow cheddar cheese--smooth and creamy). If you are in need of a cheese platter, they have some unique, aged cheeses hard to find anyplace else. Super fresh breads and cookies (after gaining 5 pounds I am finally able to control my urge for their chocolate drenched chocolates cookies). Unlike some other high-end grocers, I dont walk out feeling like Ive been fleeced. The only minor drawback is checkout sometimes; generally not bad, but sometimes can be slow as this place is super popular--but the wait is on par with other grocers, so cant complain. Last, if youre hungry, their hot buffet, salad bar, sushi bar, and their own restaurant will more than satisfy you; please eat first before doing any shopping, or your mouth will water in the store and you will buy too much (Im guilty of that pecadillo). Again, best super market ever, take a tour someday and you will be hooked.

My favorite grocery store. Period. I live 5 minutes away from a Safeway and about 10 minutes away from a Giant and Harris Teeter. This Wegmans is about 20-25 minutes away from me and I would much rather go here than the other stores. The deli department alone makes it worth it. This is one of the few grocery places that has freshly slice Sopressata. The Adams Reserve Cheddar is also excellent. Fruits and veggies are always fresh and I am yet to see anything rotting on the shelves, something that I come across at Giant and Harris Teeter all the time. The wine/beer department is excellent and has a wide variety of choices and things to try. Organic food selection is great, if thats important to you. Also, the prepared food, and especially sushi are quite decent. Ive eaten dinner here on several occasions. This location also has a Pub, which is pretty damn neat!

I like this store much better than Giant. The buffet foods and bakery are great. The producer section is frustrating as they have things spread out in separate areas. For example, you might find one type of broccoli near the front and another in the middle. Some of the dairy department is like that too. Youll find some almond milk with the regular milk and others with coconut milk halfway across the store in the stand up coolers near frozen food. All of the price tags are hung on the right-most facing of the item, rather than the left like the rest of the world since we read from left to right; WHY??? The pros are that you can find some specialty items, store is very clean, prices seem about the same as Giant, and I always pick up buffet food which is tasty and convenient.

I like the fresh bread, deli, cheese selection, organic choices, and club prices. Dont like the consistent price creep on certain food items e.g., organic oatmeal. On other hand, their organic unsweetened almond milk is cheapest in the area. I dont like having to download coupons using Wegman app. If store is reducing a price, just give me the price reduction automatically when I check out. Another issue is the amount of people in the store. Can get really crowded after 330 pm and on weekends, really crowded. Late at night not an issue but bakery and deli closed and available selection is what is left at end of day. When new housing is completed in about a year, it will be nigh on impossible not to be packed. Requires Zen mood and be prepared to take your time.

This is my favorite grocery store, besting even my beloved Publix. What I like about Wegmans is the consistency. With other chains youll find some s stores that are great and others that are so-so, but Wegmans stores are uniformly excellent. The produce is fresh and delicious. The deli is packed with tasty treats. Best of all, the prices are remarkably reasonable. Sure, you can spend a small fortune in the cheese shop, but if you stick to regular groceries the prices are competitive with other midrange grocery stores. All together, these factors make Wegmans a store where you can do all of your shopping, from luxuries to staples, instead of having to run to the regular store for some things and the specialty store for others.

My favorite place in the area to do all of my grocery shopping. Wegmans has some of the most reasonable prices Ive ever seen in a grocery store. I also love that they have such an extensive foreign foods section.. from Indian to Japanese to Thai to Mexican food, they have just about everything you could imagine. They also have an extensive beer and wine selection and feature local brews. The deli/bakery/fresh foods section is also fantastic. They offer subs, pizza, hot and cold food bars, and tons of sweets and baked goods that are all incredible. I love going grocery shopping and grabbing a sandwich on my way out of the store.

The prices are always a challenge. Still, I ate out of this Wegmans almost exclusively for 2 weeks. The cheese mongers were mostly very friendly and free with the samples; to which, I ended up buying more fine cheese than I had expected. The sushi chef made up something special when I wanted it in the morning but the station wasnt open. The sommelier was fascinating and stopped for a 20 minute chat about port and vermouth. Hundreds, thousands of wines, and a great selection of excellent local beers. Fancy almost everything. Even the BBQ ribs from the hot line were really quite good.

Wegmans is a great supermarket because it offers a wide variety of items in a fun and inviting atmosphere that goes beyond what other stores do. The market place and restaurant areas are by far the best parts of Wegmans. Followed closely by the bulk foods. However, the prices for normal everyday things arent exactly cheap and while they arent extremely expensive, they tend to be more than other stores. So for that it loses a star. The second star loss is due to the fact that while they have so many things they often dont have the things you would expect at a grocery store.

The store overall is good however the Pizza area is hands down the worst that I have experience at any Wegmans. I have ordered from here on two separate occasions and both times my order has been messed up. At first I ordered a Chicken Pizza and I got a Cheese Pizza. I also ordered wings, and was given fritters that were dripping with wing sauce to the point where it was leaking out of the container. I will NEVER be ordering pizza or wings from this place again. If I could rate the store alone I would give it 5 stars. If I could rate the Pizza area alone I would give it 1 star.

Good place to get some food. Truckers Not Welcome AT ALL. This Wegmans is in a snooty DC suburb populated by jerks who believe trucks are a cancer and the people who drive them are letchers best left in the boonies. Sadly...I live here and cannot drive my truck to grab something to eat before heading out for the week. I did park my truck here once to grab a bite to eat and received all manner of dirty looks. There is an abandoned mall off 95 south take the occoquan 123 exit take a left and its on the left by a Sunoco. No one cares if you park a tractor over night there.
