Although they have an excellent variety of kosher foods available, and although the new store is not dirty like the old store was, the customer service is non-existent to terrible. I tripped over a cantaloupe and a basket left in the cashiers aisle by someone unknown. Neither had been picked up by the staff, and I didnt see them because I had an armload of groceries. I had bruises on both legs and was lucky that I didnt fall and hit my head or break a bone. One of the staff, Moishe, expressed no concern at all for my well-being and instead asked me when I showed him the bruises, "Do you want an ambulance? Do you want the EMTs?" He was very patronizing and never asked, "Are you all right?" He also never apologized or expressed any concern. When I said "What if my husband were a lawyer?" then he became interested and said, "Oh, thats whats going on. We need to document this now for legal purposes." It was obvious that customer service and caring was last on his list. I said that it would have been nice to have received an apology, and he said in a nasty voice, "You want an apology? Heres your apology." He was rude and surly. My husband and family have been shopping there for years, but we will never go there again. He needs to attend a workshop on customer service.

Seven Mile Market is an incredibly well run operation. Their variety and prices are exceptional. I work in food service and Im keenly aware of kosher food prices in the NY area and the cost of refrigerated transportation. Given the huge overheard involved, 7 Mile prices are as low as can be. The staff is very friendly. If one is not used to a "heimish" environment, it can come across as less professional than a Giant etc. But most people far prefer it this way. They recently added new very bright lights in the parking lot, greatly appreciated. Also, the management is famous for the way in which they give back generously to the Baltimore community. And of course they were pioneers in giving gainful employment to many people with disabilities. Keep up the great work!

1) The service and help is terrible. One of those places you really think you are doing them a favor by shopping. 2) In NYC, many Kosher places that primarily use non-Jewish help close on Christmas, as a nice thing to their workers. Some remain open, but have at least some Jewish help so the non-Jews can take off. Not Seven Mile! Seven mile does not give a damn about their workers, pay them terrible wages, and threaten to fire them fi they take off holidays like Christmas. What a chilul hashem. As one cashier said to me "they dont care about us". 3) If you know your way around, need kosher food, and are okay spending exorbitant amounts of money, then Seven Mile is fine for you.

So convenient for the kosher consumer to have so many great kosher products here in one place. The quality of much of the produce could be better, though. Great customer service!!! Friendly staff!!! The store makes a special effort to hire people with disabilities, and, as staff, they seem to work hard and well. Management will take special requests seriously. I asked for a certain kind of chocolate, and they got it! Best time to go is Monday, in my experience. Busiest is Friday afternoon.

They have a decent selection of food items. The staff is friendly enough, but being the ONLY kosher super market means you really cant compare it to anything in Baltimore. Comparing it to supermarkets in New York seems unfair. The prepared foods at 7 Mile Market are lackluster, their sandwiches are often soggy. The sushi is decent. The meats are pretty fresh. 7 Mile Market is the only place for exclusively kosher foods in Baltimore as of the writing of this review.

We love 7 Mile Market. They have good sales, which are often for seasonal items. There produce is excellent and reasonably priced. We can find everything we need there and the staff are friendly and helpful. When I read the negative reviews I felt that some people like to complain, maybe had one negative experience, or find it easy to see the bad in things. 7 Mile is a great store and they do a lot of incredible things for the community.

Would be great overall but just dont buy anything from a perishable Department. They lose a square star on that. Been shopping here for almost thirty years and I can tell you if something came from a perishable Department in the store, theres a 30% chance its bad. Also check expiration dates on anything in the store.

Only kosher market in town. Where else are you going to go? I like the cheese deli counter. So a cool find! Make sure you a dressed to impress. You are about to see every teacher, doctor, and mothers helper you ever knew. More popular than a pizza store :)

Nice, bright, clean store. Well stocked, friendly personnel, quick check out. Lots of kosher food choices, most kosher food in one store in this part of the country. Reasonable prices. Delicious take out, platters available. Highly recommended!

Not nice people. Poor service. Rude workers there. Avoid the place. Produce goes bad after 1 day. Meat smells and spoiled before you take it home. Everything is 20-40 percent more expensive than other stores.

Expensive flowers, but friendly and warm customer service. Store was a bit disorganized and piecemeal, looked to be in the process of repairs or renovation.

While traveling it is always good to know there is a place I can stock up on Kosher items. Or, if I am staying overnight to get a Kosher sandwich, or nosh.
