Eclectic Monstrosity
We were told on the phone after we listed the condition and items we intended to drop off and when we arrive they accept only half of it. And the half they didnt take was of high quality, no damage, put together furniture. The lazy staff was rude and the lazy manager hardly even glanced at what she turned down. This is what we get for being charitable and trying to keep our stuff out of a landfill. Anyone who is poor would be more than happy with this high quality stuff and I am sad we had to throw it in the dump. What a waste a time of travel, time and so on. Disgusting. I will never donate to them again.

Good thrift store. Not huge but decent representation in each "department." Very close to Montgomery County Friends of the Library used bookstore, which is at the other end of shopping center. Some staff are very nice, some less so. I think they have an employment program for the disabled. Maybe Macys and Sears have better customer service, but if you compare quality of service over cost, Goodwill does OK. If you want to see what quality of donations they want, you can look inside at what they sell.

I took several boxes to this Goodwill location for donation. Boxes consisted of clothing, electronics, and books all in good condition. I watched them dumped the boxes of books into a card board box located outside of the store, exposed to the elements. It was raining, and it was covered by a tarp, with a pallet weighing it down in the middle. I am sure most, if not all the books placed in this bin get ruined by rain. This was my last donation to the Goodwill. Who stores books outside in a cardboard box?

Filled the car with donations and arrived at 8:25pm (July 27) since online info states closing time is 9pm. The employee was closing the door and refused our donation saying the store closes and 8:30 and he had already finished his report. Quite rude. This really made things very difficult for us, logistically. Learned on previous drop off, TVs older than 5 yrs are refused.

Modestly sized relative to other Goodwill locations. Stock is focused primarily on womens clothing and kitchen items. Anemic electronics selection typically. Lots of framed art for the size of the store. Like all Goodwills, the prices are awesome and you have the potential to come away with a genuinely exciting find.

Love it, love it, love it! Helpful staff and great finds if you are willing to go often. Can really dig up some used treasures for low prices. Also a great place to donate used goods, and you can take a tax deduction. Also - the store layout is better than many retail outlets - very user friendly.

Ive donated to this Goodwill numerous times over the past few years. The service seems to get worse each time I come, so Ill go elsewhere with donations. The donation line is slow and staff yelled at me when I asked for a receipt. I guess no good deed goes unpunished.

Extremely limited selection, hours are fine and the people seem nice enough, but I dont think this one does a great job with sourcing stuff. Good for getting rid of stuff you dont want to throw out, but you can sell on craigslist for very little effort.

It was a place like this that Mackelmore had in mind. This is where you go looking for someones grandad velour suit. We try to stop by at least once every two weeks. Its the only way I get paper books anymore.

GREAT clothing selection as far as thrift shops go. Organization was a bit lacking - theres an attempt at separating out clothing by size but its completely inconsistent. Regardless, Ill definitely be going back.
