Ok first let me say that I am not the ideal customer. I dont have a very nice bike or a very new one. If you have a nice Specialized or Kona or something that costs at least $500 on Craigslist, Gorham is the place for you. Friendly, competent, clean, professional. But they dont sell tools and they would rather sell you a new wheel -- or a new bike -- than repair the broken parts of a crappy old hub. For that sort of utility service (and a bike shop like your grandpa maybe used to run) hit up Quinns in Biddeford.

These guys are awesome! After TSA defiled my bike, losing a part of my bike seat stem fastener, I was refered to them by the local bike mechanic shop from up the road. They didnt have the precise part but instead of just looking at me and saying "nope dont got it" they figured out a way to rig it to get me through my race. It worked perfectly. Really shows their true character. One extremely grateful customer right here. Thanks guys!

Where all our bikes come from. They know bikes! They may be bringing some ski gear in this year, says rumor mill. Very generous in community and more than willing to help and give advice. Only paid a bit more than a cheap department store bike and got soooo much more. Long live our local pool of stores. This is a keeper!!!

I went in looking for an inner tube and they tried getting me to buy a tube that was rated for a 1.125 - 1.375 wide tire. My tire was a 1.5. No im not going to over inflate the inner tube per the manufacturers directions so you can make a quick buck. Would it have worked? Probably. Is it ideal? Definitely not.

Staff has always been helpful and provided sound advice. Never pushy on sales. Helped me upgrade my existing bicycle. Never had problems with any repair or maintenance work. Great place to do business.
