We purchased a 2013 Ford Escape on 10/2/2015 from the Beechmont location. We took the car in for an oil change on 2/17/16 and to have it checked as to why the service light was on. It had only been 4 months, and our oil change was being done on time! Since then, we have not been able to drive our car, the ENGINE needed replaced! The warranty company that DriveTime uses, Aeverex, took over 2 weeks to even approve the claim work and we still cant pick up our vehicle until March 16 warranty work can not be completed or even have parts ordered until the claim has been approved and therefore my car sat and sat WAITING to even order the engine and turbo it needed which was covered according to the warranty offered! With this being said, of course, DriveTime had no issues taking out 2 payments for this vehicle that I cant drive!!! I am giving 2 stars because I understand that it isnt DriveTimes complete fault however for an engine to need to be replaced after 4 months with a full inspection guarantee seems ridiculous and if you can take my money on a car that clearly wasnt fully inspected it seems a little unethical and perhaps I was sold a lemon. Lemon Law: A lemon is a vehicle that has one or more problems, covered by the warranty, that substantially impair the use, value or safety of that vehicle. The problems must occur within the first year or first 18,000 miles, whichever comes first. INTERESTING?!?!?! Since sending this, I have been contacted and will update when a resolution has occurred. Update: I was contacted and told that I would receive a one payment credit. The credit had not appeared so I contacted Drive Time and they cancelled my auto pay so the payment would not come out of my account. Since then, I have emailed and called customer relations letting them know that it says that I have an outstanding payment from the one they were to credit. My intentions were to set my auto pay back up but still am unable to do so because I have an outstanding amount due. I have emailed and called again this multiple times as well as contacted Bridge Crest and yet nothing is being done and I have not received a resolution to my problem! I am so frustrated with this relationship I got into with DriveTime! On top of this payment issue my car had to be taken back into the repair shop because the engine that was put into my car that the warranty company found had a leaking water pump!!! They first requested another deductible to be repaired but luckily they did waive that after I had called, at least I am hoping so and dont receive a bill. I have come to the understanding that this company can promise you things but has issues with communication and standing behind their service. It has been a nightmare and I am questioning my next steps.

Bate n Switch! We had not one, not two but three vehicles we were highly interested in the day we applied. When a customer service rep contacted me regarding those vehicles and our application, we were told the vehicles would be there when we came in. Sure enough, they were there in the front lot. Tags were in place, no marker for sold in place and no other customers in the office when we got there. We were also informed that the vehicle in question (Ford F-150) was still available for purchase before we agreed to sit down and do perspective business. While our paperwork was being processed, we asked to go look at the vehicles on the lot and went and did just that. All 3 vehicles were lovely and we wanted either one as the price and quality of the vehicle was very good. (2014 Ford Escape Ecoboost for $10,500), and 2010 Ford F-150 for $14,500 both with low miles. As soon as we returned and were discussing details from the back of the lot, we noticed both vehicles were gone and this was literally 5 minutes after we went out to the lot. My fiance and I found this to be very sketchy. We were also told online how we were highly qualified buyers for the vehicle in question and that our vehicle would be available when we came in to visit. The sales manager proceeded to tell us how mysteriously all the "good" vehicles were either "on layaway" or "already sold and being transferred". This was a CLASSIC form of bate and switch in my opinion and is a poor business model to practice. It is down right unethical! The sales manager also proceeded to tell us that we qualified but required $3,000 down on any vehicle on the lot. The vehicles that were "available" werent even worth that kind of money down, let alone the ones we hadnt inquired about. This business is bad! Stay Away!

Like a lot of folks, my credit has seen better days! I have dealt with the major dealerships and cannot stand their wormy ways and their bait n switch tactics. We as a family were ready for a game changing car company to come along and flip this schmarmy industry on their backs!! Thats EXACTLY WHAT DRIVETIME DID!! EXACTLY!!! WE PULL IN AND ARE WALKING TOWARD THE MAIN ENTRANCE... NO SALSEMEN CIRCLING LIKE BLOODTHIRSTY SHARKS!!! AS WE OPENED THE MAIN DOOR WE ARE GREETED BY AMII JOHNSON WITH A WARM SMILE AND ASKED IF WE NEEDED HELP. I TOLD HER THAT I DO NEED HELP BUT NOT HELP WASTING MY TIME OR HERS. She assured me that we would have results in 20 minutes. Well.... Thats exactly what happened!! 20 minutes later, I was test driving a 3rd row suv. An hour later I was driving it home!! These people, this company is going to change the car sales industry!!! I dont care if your credit score is a 109 or if its a 780....you WILL be treated with respect either way!!! Please.... If you need a vehicle, GO TO DRIVE TIME AND TELL THEM TIM MCGUIRE SENT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the most enjoyable, dignified car experience I have ever had. Customer Service Satisfaction will be given. I was greeted with a warm smile by Amii. She offered us refreshments and we immediately got down to business. She listened to my situation and she promised me they could find me a car I wanted. Test - We drove the list of cars. although I didnt have all my paperwork she NEVER TOLD ME NO! She still found a,way to keep my hopes up so that I can feel good about my car choice. I then came across a KIA Soul...not t vehicle I initially came in for but it was what I would want. Amii was awesone. Warm hearted, a good, sales lady and she is a trooper. she put on my plates made sure my car was clean and she double checked paperwork and made sure I got on the road. please please if it is your time to drive choose DriveTime

I walked in on a prescheduled appt today at 12:15 and had the most comfortable, genuine and relaxing experience with salesperson Dave Croft. I had been to 3 other dealerships and being a female, purchasing alone, had been treated uncomfortably and made to feel that I was inferior and put in some rather demeaning situations. Dave was kind, professional and very knowledgable and the entire time I worked with him, he was polite and understanding in regards to my specific needs and never once made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about my credit or finances. He worked with me patiently and I left today thrilled with a new 2012 Hyundai Tucson and also purchased insurance with him. I would and will highly recommend him to all my family and friends and give him a 10!!! Thank you!!!
