I always shop at the Pet Supplies Plus in Shelton on Bridgeport Ave. Everyone there is always friendly and helpful. I have to give a special shout out to Zach and Robert! I recently took my four cats in for the clinic and while returning to the car one of my cats escaped his carrier! I was in shock as he ran across the sidewalk, parking lot, busy street and up a huge hill to an office building. Zach, Robert, two of the female employees and a customer all jumped in to help. We all followed Romeo to that building, but it was Zach and Robert who persisted along with the customer in following him all the way up to the "Scinto Towers" about a mile and a half away. By the time I reached them with the carrier, they were in the other customers car with Romeo waiting for me. Robert and Zach went above and beyond and I am so grateful. Romeo is all white - he has no camouflage and would not have survived the night. Kudos to Zach, Robert and the great staff at Pet Supplies Plus, Shelton! I highly recommend shopping here!

This pet store is awesome!!! Not one animal is mistreated or "forgotten" about!! I always shop here!! And prices are great too! HIGHLY recommend shopping here!! Everything here is fantastic from the employees to the prices!! The fish and animals are sooo happy and well taken care of here!! Sometimes when I come here and buy some fishies... I sometimes feel bad taking them away from all of there little friends because they seem so happy!! The 1 star was honestly even too much! While in the store on March 5th 2016! I was shown with a reptile supplies were. After that I feel like if I was racially profile because one of the employees begin to just keep peeking at me making sure I wasnt stealing anything. Every time I caught him looking at me he will jump back real fast. I being a black man in America will personally never going to that store again.. I also observed multiple white Customer in there being able to shop without being spied on.. up

Pet Supplies pretty much has everything we need for our pets. Great selection of healthy food for both cats and dogs and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We are here at least twice a month. Some this are way overpriced and some especially the food is priced just right.
