Last year I was thrilled to come into your store to get fast service. I worked with John Walker and he sold me a tablet, to go with my upgraded phone. At the time we were going to be taking a few family trips so I thought it would be worth it. He told me that I would pay $10 a month for a year and then, after that, I could remove the tablet from my account. When I attempted to remove the tablet from my account last week I was told that this would not be possible without an early termination fee of $145. I called the store and was told and I quote, "Upper management reviewed my issue and since I signed a two year agreement, in the store, that it didnt matter if the sales person lied to me, I was still legally bound to the contact." When you are presented with a "contract" in the store, they do not give you the forms to review, they only tell you what you are signing and then ask you to sign on the screen. I had no way of knowing what the salesman was saying was not true. When I the woman on the phone this, she said well it would have been available in your account you should have read it. UUMMM... How was I supposed to read a contact for something, in my account, that I had yet to add to my account? The logic behind their argument is absurd. I have been a Verizon customer for almost 20 years. I have never disputed a charge nor missed payments. Now I am looking for another company to give $300 a month to as it seems Verizon does not care if their employees lie to customers. Whatever you do, do not trust the sales people in this store! Do not sign anything on their little screens until they provide you the terms in writing!

Avoid this location. Im a happy Verizon customer but I cant stress enough to use a Verizon corporate store. Theres one close by near Lindale Mall and Best Buy. There was so many errors made in my transaction Ill try to itemize them: 1) Cell cases, chargers etc are described as "free" if you have a trade in credit. This obviously is not true, they just mean you arent out of pocket today. 2) I regrettably accepted the offer of the $1.00 tablet because I was assured there would be zero additional or monthly charges. Not only is this not true (it should be an extra $10/month) My salesrep Darshay processed the sale in a way that created a separate account for my phone and tablet and the tablet billed a full line and data fee to the tune of $80.00/month. 3) Numerous attempts were made to correct the billing error by talking to Darshay and his manager Matt. Many assurances were made but no calls were ever returned and the billing amount never changed. 4) According to Verizon customer service, my Iphone trade in was not received or was not received within 45 days of when I turned it in to the store, so I was ineligible to receive the switcher discount. Its too late for me and all the others reviewers with similar experiences but for Gods sake, save yourself.

I feel the staff including the store manager is very lacking of information about current promos and products. I went to this store trying to stay as "local" as possible. I wanted to order a Note 4, both salesmen kept telling me I couldnt order one yet. I told them repeatedly I had seen it on the Verizon site. I was finally able to order one. A week or two later I see Best Buy had a $200 gift card offer if you order it from Best Buy. I called to cancel my order and the salesman said only the store manager can cancel an order. Unfortunately, he works only until 5:00. I made a special trip in to be there before 5:00. He talked me into keeping my order with Z Wireless. He said they can give me the same deal. He told me when I pick my new phone up, I simply have to trade in a working phone and Samsung will mail me a check instead of a gift card. Sounded good to me. I traded in a perfectly good working phone that I specifically asked would qualify, sent in the paperwork needed and after a week or so Samsung refused my rebate. Z Wireless failed to tell me the phone actually didnt qualify. After stopping in, Z Wireless store manager told me it was between Samsung and myself. I will never recommend or go to this store again.

I was completely deceived and mislead by the sales associate, Darshay Poage, at the Verizon Wireless Retailer store in Marion, Iowa. Darshay was very friendly and helpful on the day that I purchased phones and signed on as a new Verizon customer, but it wasnt until I returned to the store to have errors in my billing corrected, that I realized I and my two adult sons were intentionally deceived and taken advantage of. Darshay and his manager, Matt Russell, informed us that the bills were correct and that it was our misunderstanding if we thought the total cost of the three phones was only $750. They told me that I had agreed to pay for the phones in 24 monthly installments (which would actually total $2285!) and that I had 2 weeks after the contract was signed to return the phones and that there was nothing they could do. After seeing similar reviews, I am determined to pursue this matter and I encourage others to do the same. I didnt even want to give a one star rating but I had to before it would allow me to post anything!

The service I received I thought was great until I realized that they try to capitalize on every trick possible to maximize their commission on the sale. Ive been with Verizon for 14 years and just started up a New individual plan and thought I would give this retailer I shot. my warning to anybody who tries to go here is despite the Verizon logo this is not a Verizon location make your way down to the Lindale corporate store by the mall unless you want to spend 4 1/2 hours with customer support and technical services to fix the mistakes of this company will make on your bill and your plan. But as always Verizon corporate will do everything possible to make your experience the best possible and though I waited four and a half hours over the course of two days to have everything fixed big red saved my service with them once again. Again a warning on this Marion Iowa location buyer beware. The corporate store IS VERIZON and the staff is the most knowledgeable in the business!

I want to start by saying this is a good review Ive come in a few times before when darshay and Matt were there and I just felt like I was being lied too with that being said Im not driving 10 more minutes to get to the one off of Blairs but im refreshed to see a newer face Alec the store manager talked to me for a very long time and actually got to know me heck I felt like friends when I left there however I couldnt afford the switch but I feel welcome when I come by my friends say Diana alecs employee is amazing and I have to agree I only talked to her once or twice but still you can get to know someone easy and she an Alec I have a great feel for and I recommend this store to everyone If you want to look into a phone plan for you or the family Alec and Diana treat you as a person and not as a chance to take your money and that is hard to find and im glad Matt and darshay are no longer there because I know there wont be any confusion when I make my switch from Sprint
