For close to a year, I had been anticipating the introduction of a new VW model after driving the European version a year ago. I had been reading everything I could about it but knew that, it only recently having started production, I faced a potentially long wait to get exactly what I wanted. After disappointing visits to two other VW dealerships (padded prices and hidden fees, insultingly low trade-in offers), I met with Matt Rucko at Princeton VW after he replied promptly to my Internet inquiry. I already expected to have a positive experience just from talking to Matt on the phone and my visit in person was refreshingly painless and straightforward. Matt gave me the price I expected for this car with no hidden fees or padding, we agreed to a trade-in price I could live with, and he committed to doing what he could to locate exactly what I was looking for. From that point forward, things happened much faster and more easily than I had dared hope: a little over a week after meeting Matt face to face, Im now driving my brand new car. Throughout the process, including picking up and walking through the features of the car, Matt was knowledgeable, communicative and helpful. Ill add that Tony Kwak in finance made taking care of the money side of things a breeze, working quickly to get me through all the paperwork. As I look back on how quickly things came together and how enthusiastically Matt made this happen, I keep thinking that all car purchases should be this pleasant. Put simply, Matt Rucko got me into exactly the car I wanted, in fresh-off-the-assembly-line condition, at a very good price, with a minimum of fuss, and faster than either of us even expected.

Avoid the garage at all costs. Typical stealership. I brought in my trusty 03 diesel Jetta last week to get new tires and an oil change. CEL was on and tail lights were out, so I asked them to check it. Tires and oil and brake light switch were changed for $800, but I was told the car needed $5,000 of work if the CEL was going to go off. They told me the turbocharger was dead (which clued me in that something was off, since it had been replaced just a year ago by a great German shop). I made it clear that I did not have $5k, and they suggested I replace the car. I got the heck out and drove up to my dads in New York. He has a code reader, and we made the repairs ourselves for less than $150 in parts. The turbocharger was just fine; only the boost valve had to be replaced. CEL is off and car is very happy, for less than 10% of what these guys wanted. Either they are entirely stupid and unqualified to work on diesels, or they just want to screw you until you decide its more convenient to buy a new car.

Really great experience. My wife and I were looking for a hard to find beetle and one turned up at VW princeton a few weeks ago. From the moment I emailed the dealer it was smooth sailing. The staff was super responsive and accommodating, we came from NY to pick up the car. We arrived at 9:45am Saturday morning and the car was detailed and ready to go. It looked even better than the pictures online, it was one of the only denim blue beetles that we found certified by VW in the 4 months we were searching for one. The insurance, registration, and all of the other stuff was taken care of before we got there. Matt greeted us and showed my wife the features of the car. The paperwork process took a total of 5 min and we were on our way. I would 100% recommend this dealer, Ive told a few of my VW/Audi friends about it, Ill definitely be taking the trip next time I buy a VW or Audi!

I could not have been more pleased with my experience at Princeton VW. After a terrible interaction at a VW dealership in Hamilton, NJ, I was apprehensive about buying a car from VW. Our salesperson was John Ivarone, and he was beyond pleasant and accommodating. Enrico also helped to make sure we had a smooth and worry free transaction. They also appeared genuinely honest and upfront at all times. They really took the time and put in that extra effort to make sure that we were 100% satisfied, which we were. Additionally, you could tell that everyone in the office was knowledgeable, nice, and hardworking, and that all staff worked together as a team. I have never had such a great experience buying a car. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a VW. You will not be disappointed!

5 stars of WOWness :) I am so excited to write a review for Princeton VolksWagen as I had a great very soft experience with them Especially with Mr. John. High Level: I step In - Said I was looking for this Car - Got Quote - Friendly Chat with Mr. John - Got Keys - Sat Behind the Wheel - Drove Home :) Its that Easy with P. VW. I bought 2013 CC with the help of Mr. John and Mr.Abe. It has been 2 weeks i am driving my CC and i am experiencing awesome feeling everytime I drive. I dont feel like using the breaks at all (Just kidding but its just the feeling :) ) PRICETON VOLKSWAGEN OFFERS GREAT DEALS WITH NICE WHEELS. Thank you again John :) ***** for the help and offered me great wheels. Have a good one!!! Thumbs UP!

Best car buying experience! The team was very helpful, accommodating, reasonable, and honest. Sean Carter and Matt Rucko were a pleasure to deal with. They stay in regular contact but are never pushy or obtrusive, always wanting to do what is most convenient for their customer. Compared to other dealerships, the sales process was very transparent and there was very little back and forth. I had my initial negotiation and paperwork done within an hour, and it took about an hour to pick the car up and finalize everything on the next visit (most of that time was spent signing paperwork and then going over the features in the car). Highly recommended if you are looking to get into a Volkswagen.

I purchased a VW Jetta TDI Diesel from Princeton Volkswagen and I must say it was a great experience. Matt Rucko was a great salesman. He is knowledgable about his product as well as the competitions offerings. He was helpful in every aspect of the purchase. Matt helped to guide me through the purchase process and never kept me waiting. Even after the sale was done he made sure to treat me like a new prospective buyer even when I came in to pick up my plates and registration. I do not like the process of buying a new car but Matt and the team at Princeton Volkswagen made the process easy and stress free.

I have been going to this dealership for several years. Recently for my 2013 Passat TDI. I have never had any problems. The staff is very knowledgeable and constantly keeps me informed of that status of the service. My last visit was for my 40K service. They told me exactly how long it would take and it was a little shorter actually. Cant complain about that. It was still a fairly long visit and they offered to me the use of their conference room so I could get work done which I really appreciated! I very much recommend this dealership for sales and service.
