We LOVE this Petco! Every time we go there are SUPER helpful knowledgeable staff who have been EXTREMELY patient with my familys questions. A few months ago Jessica helped us find a great affordable solution for our guinea pig habitat, C&C diy cages and educated us about birds, which we were considering at the time. Just yesterday Paul helped us get the most hospitable set up for our new beta. Sierra made sure it was a healthy one and told us how to tell and what to do if our beta gets sick. They both helped us distinguish the difference between water prep products that were higher quality and also more affordable! Its always been a great experience and we love our local Gloucester Petco (:

This particular location is understaffed. Petco in general is overpriced (which they say is because the employees are more knowledgeable, but they typically arent and are told to try to sell you the most expensive items). The pet care is poor, the animals are handled very infrequently and are not usually friendly to people; you are much better off buying from a breeder. You can get the same dog foods at the grocery store, or the locally owned pet store on main st.

We were in town for another reason. But we got our dogs nails clipped there. It seemed like there wasnt anybody there who knew how to use their point-of-sale terminals. Really bad service I think it was the Petco from hell.

Always a great experience here. The staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. We have never had a problem here. They carry most things youd need. We even get grain free large breed specific food here.

Everyone at this Petco is friendly and helpful. Love Sierra (sp) the groomer. She takes extra care with our elder dog and she makes both of our dogs look like show dogs! Great place.

They are super accommodating. My dog has broke several harnesses and leads and they are always willing to take them back. Staff is great...prices not so much but it is what it is.
