Bob is an amazing artist! Today I got my 2nd tattoo from him, the last one was in August of 2011. I feel confident giving Bob my design ideas and knowing that he will add his artistic eye to it and make it something wonderful- something even better than what I envisioned. He puts you at ease if you are nervous and talks you through everything he does. Aftercare instructions are clear, and he always offers touch ups after your tattoo has healed. Becca at the front desk is sweet and helpful and helps you visualize your ideas. Even if Steve isnt doing your tattoo, he still offers his input and always loves to see your tattoo when it is done. Of course the studio is beautiful and clean! You have to see their tattooed toilet! Bob is a very talented artist! If you are in the Iowa City area and getting a tattoo, he is your man! Crossroads has been in Coralville for the last 15 years- that says a lot!

The staff was very nice and friendly also knowledgeable. I was able to fill out the papers needed to get any work done a day before because of my schedule. They gave off a positive energy. The building was nice, clean, and had no odd smells. Roger (who does the piercings) was outstanding. Even though I had a Princes Albert piercing before and informed him, he made sure I still was up to date on it. He was very clean and watched what he touched and frequently changed his gloves and washed his hands during preparation time. It was nice knowing that he has a Prince Albert piercing too so he was about to answer any questions. The after care kit was more then I have gotten before and was built nicely. The pricing are great and affordable. I would recommend anyone to them. I will be going back to them in the future for any other work. Best around.

I got my first tattoo here in October and I want to give Crossroads Tattoo the highest possible rating I can offer! I asked many people for advice where I should go for my first tattoo and many people recommended Crossroads and its clear why! Their building is very CLEAN, I am IN LOVE with my new tattoo, and I cant say enough good things about their staff. EVERYBODY was very understanding and really made the place personal and comfortable for me. I am extremely satisfied with my first experience at Crossroads Tattoo!

I was in town and blindly searched for a shop and hit the Jackpot! Steve and Becca a great people and made me feel so comfortable. was my 4th Tattoo and will never go anywhere else had a design idea for 2 ideas and Steve worked his magic and turned out better then I ever expected. Nice clean atmosphere and very professional staff. Looking forward to returning very soon!

Met Steve and Becca shortly after they opened. Steve did my first one and I knew he would be working on future ones for me. Talented, passionate about his craft and a real genuine person. Bob is also a wonderful artist. Theres a reason they have been around for more than 20 years. Absolutely worth getting some work done by these awesome people!

Good solid lines, color and shading. Steve is great, the counter help us usually annoying and condescending and dont let an apprentice work you. Wait for steves work, its worth it!!
