Andrew is a great tattoo artist, I definitely recommend him. He listened to how we wanted our designs to be, and was very attentive to this. However, one of the front desk guys was INCREDIBLY rude to us, and almost made us decide to leave and go somewhere else. Some of the tattoo artists are great here, but the shop needs to consider not hiring people who are going to treat their customers in such a poor way.

Iowa City Tattoo (previously called Nemesis) is awesome. I love the atmosphere. To me, its edgy but close knit. Both of my experiences here went great. My first tattoo was done by Andrew, my second by Jeff (Jeff is seriously the coolest dude). I also brought my sister here for her tattoo, which she had done by Jeff, and she loved it.

My artist was friendly and the experience was quick and not all that painful for my first tattoo. My only complaint is that it was quite expensive for such a small simple colorless design and I was only told the price after it was finished. It was lucky that I had that money on me. Love the tattoo, dislike the price. Bank-breaker.

These guys are great, very patient and want to make you feel comfortable. Tattoo turned out great as well. Definitely recommend it to anyone!
