Ordered a recliner from Bassett Furniture on Barrett Parkway this year, after going to a half-dozen furniture stores trying to find the right style of chair that was also within my budget. The salesperson finalized the order for me and it totaled out to $100 less than it was listed for, even at its sales price. I asked the salesperson if he was sure it was the right one and he assured me it was. Well, who was I to turn my nose up at an additional $100 savings? Several months later, my chair was delivered -- except for the fact that it was NOT the recliner version, it was the "normal" non-recliner version. The delivery guys told me I would need to call Bassett to have the situation addressed, they couldnt do anything. Within 10 minutes of receipt of the chair, I called Bassett and explained the situation to the woman who answered their phone. I explained the situation and she apologized, advising me that it would be taken care of as quickly as possible, they would have to place an order for the correct chair, and would replace the one that had been delivered to me at no additional charge. "Can I sit in it in the meantime?" I asked her, concerned about the possibility of damaging furniture that was to be exchanged. I was told that of course I could. And thats where the story ends. I never heard another word from Bassett Furniture on Barrett Parkway. Inaccurate, unreliable, untrustworthy. I suggest taking your money elsewhere.

Ordered and paid for one thing, was told several weeks later the item was no longer available and they tried to sell me something else. Poor accounting system if they dont even know whether an item is actually in stock, before the sale is made. I provided my contact information on your company website approximately six months ago. To date, no response. Theres a surprise.
