I needed a cheapo scooter to commute to and from work, and for errands, I didnt have a lot of money on me. I went around a few shops in the area and decided on this one because the wonderful couple running it, they were upfront about all the costs, they had good reviews, and because they had repair guys in the back and they were willing to repair/fix any problems with their bikes. Originally I planned to buy it that day, but the only model that was the color I wanted had a chipped area (which they pointed out to me). They first offered different colored scooters, and then offered to get the new one delivered to my work on the next business day. I accepted. Then on the day they were suppose to deliver it they came a little bit early, and unfortunately I had a really busy day where I had to work overtime for about 45 minutes or so, and I didnt have time to check my phone, so by the time I got off they were gone. But a quick phone call and he was still in the area so he came by in a bit and brought me to the store to pick up the scooter. Chinese scooters arent well known for their quality, and they shouldnt be. But if you cared about quality you wouldnt be buying the cheapest scooters on the market. A few weeks after I bought it, my muffler/exhaust pipe support beam snapped and the rear box on the back of the scooter had a few loose screws and consequently fell off. The exhaust pipe they welded back up, and gave me 38% off their normal welding price (I paid 25$, normal was 40$ or 45$) since it was new (which they didnt have to do, their warranty clearly states they only cover transmission and engine for 3 months, which can be extended to a year if you pay extra). A few weeks later when it snapped again, they fixed and reinforced it for free. The box they also screwed back on for free. Overall I feel theyre great people who are willing to repair their products (many cheapo scooter stores wont). Just be aware of the product youre buying and dont expect miracles : )

PURCHASE DATE 7/7/17 ... WE BOUGHT TWO ATVS, SIZE 125 , WITH IN FIRST HOUR OF RIDE >>> ON 7/9/17 THE FRONT WHEEL LOCKED , WOULD NOT TURN , MY SON >>7 YRS OLD ALMOST FILPPED , HE SAID HE HEARD A CLICKING NOISE RIGHT BEFORE SOMETHING BROKE OFF WHICH WAS A METAL PLATE SOME WHERE IN THE TIRE , NOT SURE WHAT IT IS , I STOPPED MY SON GET OFF AND TO TURN OFF ATV , WE LOOKED AT THE TIRE IN SHOCK ,AND LOADED THEM BACK ON THE TRUCK , THEY ASSEMBLE THERE AT THE STORE , CALLED THE GUY SAME NIGHT HE SAID TO BRING THE ATV BACK TO SEE WHAT HE WOULD DO ..... ALSO THEY KEPT TURNING OFF SOMETIMES AND THEN IT WOULD START UP SOMETIMES NOT SURE IF IT WAS BECAUSE THEY WHERE HOT IDK >>>>SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT!!! NOT EVEN A FULL HOUR OF RIDDING , I CANT BELIEVE IT !!!!!! I HAD MY SUPPISIONS BEFORE I PURCHASED !!!! I HAD READ ALL THE REVIEWS , I DECIDE TO TAKE A CHANCE ONLY BECAUSE OF THEM SAYING HOW NICE OWNERS WERE .... I SHOULD OF TRUSTED MY INSTINCT...... I GUESS THAT DOESTNT DETERMIND THE QUALITY OR ASSEMBLY OF ATV ..... WERE GOING BACK TO THE STORE TODAY 7/10/17 TO SEE WHAT THE OWNER DOES !!!!! WE PAID ALOT OF MONEY FOR SOMETHING JUST TO LOOK PRETTY ......... PLEASE BE AWARE .......... MAYBE FOR A LIL MORE MONEY WE COULD HAVE GOT AMERICAN MADE ........ I WILL POST UPDATE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT !!!!!ALL I WANT IS TO ATLEAST GET OUR $ 1400.00 DOLLARS WORTH !!!!!! Date of service was 03/12/2016. My friend recommended this place to me. I was told this business lend good business and good quality work. I decided to go here to check things out. I got there and spoke to George. He was really nice, knowledgeable, and motorbike savvy. I told George my issues and he ask for a photo of my bike. After showing photo, he told me he would get the bike in and take care of me with no problem. I went a hired a tow truck driver to deliver my motorbike from my house to Harwin Powersports. When to tow truck arrived with bike at the Asian Owner guy said, “NOOOO, we not taking NO bike”. He said “if you didnt buy is here, we not fixing here”. I went back to George and George asked me to hold on while he straightens things out. George could not come to any kind of resolution with Asian owner, so the owner wife Tina came out to try a reason with him. She had ZERO providence as well. Tina finally came to me a said sorry, go somewhere else. This brought about a feeling of wrongly disservice and mistreatment. The business owner seemed to have gave zero shyt for providing good customer service. I ask Tina (wife to owner) how we could come to a compromise for my money paid for towing, inconvenience, and time wasted. She asked me to write my name & address on a piece of paper. Then, gave me her word that she would call me back. Come pick up my motorbike free of charge and then give discount on the work. I will come back and update this review if she holds integrity & honor or dishonor her word.

From start to finish, George garnered my respect for his willingness to serve and for going the extra mile, He not only explained what I needed to know about the TaoTao Scooter I was planning to purchase, but he was clear, interesting, and knowledgeable of the scooter. It is my pleasure to write this review for George because I beilieve he genuinely cares for his clients and takes pride in his job and the merchandise he sells. While at the store last Saturday, I watched him with an older couple who was looking for a scooter to ride around town. The couple was feeling unsure about their purchase, but George was honest and open about their decision, and recommended a scooter that would better suit their needs. It was his kind demeanor and willingness to serve along with his positive and professional attitude that overall obviously contributes to his character and stands out as a shining example of what a salesman should be.

I was in need of an economic and practical way to transport myself around Houston for a couple of months, so I went online to look for motorcyle dealers as I had in mind I could definetly benefit from a moped. I found Harwin Powersports so I decided to place a visit. As soom as I arrived, I was greeted by George. He treated me in a very professional and polite way. He patiently helped me make an educated decision based on my needs. That same day I decided to buy my moped, which has made me a very happy man. Several days after, George called me just to see how it was going with my new scooter, this was real nice of him. Im not sure if George is the owner of Harwin Powersports but he sure proyects the knowledge, professionalism and service you would expect from a buisness owner.
