THEY INJURED MY DOG!!! I took my Maltese and Maltipoo for grooming and on top of doing a horrible and I mean really horrible job of the haircut - on top of THAT - I have just discovered my Maltipoo has a bad injury on his lower back! I have called several times asking to speak with Ashley the store manager and I am still waiting to hear back from her conclusively. She told me she needed time to review videos of the grooming process. My dogs were haphazardly and unevenly cut. They are beautiful animals with lovely soft white hair and PETSMART butchered the job. They basically cut everything off! The dogs were left with less than a centimeter (if that!) of hair with no shape or form to it. They basically just cut it ALL off real close. I asked them to specifically leave the dogs top knots untouched and my Maltese now has just a little left on top. Fortunately - or rather unfortunately considering his injury - whoever groomed my Maltipoo did not mess with his top knot hair which is about 3-4 inches long (thank goodness, it took 3 years to grow that length) but my Maltese ...I am speechless! Question: do PETSMART groomers know what each breed of dog is supposed to look like when groomed! It will probably take another 3 years to regrow my Malteses top knot to look as full as it should. However the biggest problem is the injury to my Maltipoo. I am besides myself!!! No one told me that my dog had been injured. I feel terrible that I took my dogs there. Please everyone be warned DO NOT USE PETSMART GROOMERS. These are completely untrained and uncaring money grubbing people - they charged us nearly $150! - who masquerade as professional groomers but in reality are nothing of the sort. I think they will hire anyone - ANYONE - looking for a job regardless of whether they even want to be a groomer because the product they are selling is atrocious! It is just beyond me how they can take a beautiful pure bred Maltese and just cut all the hair off...unevenly. Maltese are famous for their hair, getting them groomed does not mean cutting all their hair off. Is that something I need to explain to what are supposed to be "professional groomers?" Please google "PETSMART dog grooming injuries" and you will realize that this enterprise is nothing but a money making venture with no dedication to animals. Ashley, please contact me as soon as possible with your email address so I can send you photos of Legos lower back injury. I wish I could paste photos right here on my review for all to see. You know, it was one thing to charge us nearly $150 for a bad haircut but after finding the injury on my Maltipoo - because it started bruising - well I just had to write a review. If my dog had dark hair I may never have known but the bruise darkened in a day and I wondered what this dark patch was - I couldnt believe my eyes. I just sat and hugged my dog. Then I took photos. I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau also . I will also be getting my beloved dog examined. Cuts and bruises dont lie! Dogs dont talk and people lie but cuts and bruises do not!

I have been to this location a number of times to visit the grooming salon to have my dogs nails trimmed. On one occasion I was told that my dog "acted horrible" because she was so frightened during the process. I continued to return to this location after that experience. After arriving today for the same service, my dog was taken in the back room and two minutes later the employee returned and told me to come back another time because two people were needed to help trim my dogs nails and they were simply "way too busy" for that to happen. Meanwhile, my dog was yelping and crying as she returned her to me, this has NEVER happened before. I expressed that I could wait for another person to help, but the employee repeatedly told me that I chose the busiest time of the day to come in, "this is Labor Day weekend" and to take a look around at how every table was currently full. She continued to say I needed to just come back another day because it would be a "very long time" until I could be helped given the fact that they were "booked for the rest of the day." Never mind the fact that I specifically made a trip to the store to be helped! I could not believe the customer service - terrible! Afterwards I drove down the road to another location and was greeted nicely and received no problems at all! My dog was also returned to me acting happy! The overall morale and negativity amongst the groomers here is really sad - what a HUGE difference at the other location I visited for the first time today! After 2 bad experiences, I will no longer be returning here for grooming service.

THREE terrible experiences here. Never again. Lost a customer for life. First time, we booked a weeklong stay for our small dachsund and were called the day we were to drop her off cancelling the stay. An outbreak of some sort. Bad cleaning practices? Second, when buying food was told in an un professional manner I would need a prescription for it. I was told I should know better ... by a teen at the register. Do you have managers here? Today, the dog has a card with her vaccinations on it. They wouldnt take it. Again teens making the decision and acting bratty about it. DONE. Good luck if you ever shop here. No telling what your experience will be. Petco, Pet Supermarket and online shopping will suit my needs just fine in the future.

Do not go to the groomers here. Our dog use to be so fearless and never had an issue getting groomers or getting her nails done, but after taking her here she is terrified of the place and getting her nails done. I was waking around the store while they did her nails and when I walked by the giant glass window to see how she was doing a giant woman was using her gut to pin down my 30 pound dog as she cut her nails and when she would try to get away from the woman the lady would drag her back being extremely rough. These groomers have barley any training and many of them have little patience and are very rough with the dogs. Please go to a professional with good reviews. My dog still will not walk in to this store

This PetsHotel location took such great care of our dog during the holidays. The entire staff was very sweet despite being very busy over the holidays. Our dog looked and smelled clean upon pick up, and she was happy, and slept the whole way home. They even took the courtesy of washing her blankets for us prior to pick-up. Overall, we will definitely use this location when we are in the area again.

Customer service is hit or miss -- some employees are awesome, others are unprofessional. Brad and another woman near the fish section have always made our experiences great. But Cole is not a good employee. When looking for fish, Cole complained about the breed we were getting. Prices are also hit or miss. Always check Amazon/Walmart before you buy anything from there.
