This by far is the worst pet store I have ever seen. They have random stuff everywhere, you cant even access their products, and they claim to have gotten all of the boxes by the fish stuff from the store in Panama City because it closed well its still just sitting there. It is a very dirty place and the animals they have are not friendly at all. DO NOT SHOP HERE... I highly recommend not to shop here. And most of the dog food is out of date and is returned to them and is put amongst the rest of the crap just out where customers can see, open and disgusting, I saw one where there were cobwebs in the dog food. Not what I want to give my dog. The owner puts the stuff out, if hardly any, from Panama City all disgusting looking, the packaging all faded and wet from water log. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE

Ive been shopping at Panhandle Pet for various pet supplies since it was located at Oak Valley by Publix many years ago. Although the location and staff have changed over the years, it has remained my go-to pet-supply store. From the time you walk in the door and the staff greets you and offers to help, until you walk out the door and they offer to load, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you have a pet and it needs food, Panhandle Pet has it or will get it for you. Yes, it does smell like a feed store, because that is exactly what it is.

I went in today to look at the fish supplies and fish available and I was completely appalled by the state of their tanks. -About a dozen or more dead fish in various states of decomposition (some looked like they were there well over a week). - The tanks were FILTHY. I mean covered in black and blue (yes blue) growth. It was to the point were you could hardly see most of the fish. Please do not support this company until their behavior changes - there are plenty of other fish suppliers in town!

My wifes poodle past away more than 2 weeks ago. She has done nothing but cry non-ceasing. I have been calling around to find another mini poodle white with short legs. I called Panhandle Pet Supply and talked to Sheri who was so very understanding and helpful. Although they did not have any poodles she spent a lot of time trying to point me in the right direction. Its people like her that makes you want to do business with them. I hope her store realizes who they have.

I just bought a bunny tonight and it was my first time here. It was OK, was very Unorganized but the staff was friendly. If your considering buying a pet, make sure its what you really want bc they dont have any return policies. I only bought the bunny and went to petsmart to buy the cage/accessories. But in one of these comments, someone said that the pets arent friendly? My bunny is the most calmest and nicest baby bunny I ever met. He is sweet and super cute ;)

Worst place ever to purchase animals. I bought a guinea pig on Saturday for my daughter to replace the one that just died which I also purchased at panhandle pet supply 4 months ago and the poor little guy is eat up with mites. No exchanges or refunds. There is only ONE staff member who was friendly. The rest are jerks including the owner! I recommend you to take your business somewhere else and dont waste your time and money at this place!

Fantastic pet store full of friendly employees. They know you by name and even carry your purchases out to your car if you need help. Very knowledgeable staff and willing to help you with any questions or concerns. They have tons of different fish and will special order any they have access to. To top it off, they have better prices than all the chain pet stores. Definitely consider Panhandle Pet Supply for you pet needs!

My dogs have lots of digestion issues, and Panhandle Pet Supply is the only place that sells the special food they need at a price I can afford. All their toys and treats are priced lower than the chain pet stores. Service is always friendly, and willing to go the extra mile by loading up your car for you. I try to shop local whenever possible, and these guys make it easy to do so. Keep up the good work!

The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and does not pressure whatsoever to buy. They answered all my questions and gave my daughter and I all the time we wanted to handle the livestock. Maybe not the cleanest store in the world, but clean enough for a pet shop. Their pet prices go from reasonable to very inexpensive for large herpes. Although it is not in a convenient location for me, I will go back.

This place never has anything that I need and the employees are very rude. It is not clean and there are always dead fish floating around in their fish tanks. When pointed out they do not do anything about cleaning out the dead fish. None of the reptiles they sell look healthy. All of their merchandise is overpriced. NEVER GO HERE if you want a positive experience.

I called to speak with the owner of the shop and whoever answered the phone said there "was no owner, adios", and hung up on me. Im assuming that was the owner, since a sales associate would be fired for treating customers that way. Extremely rude, I cant believe I spent money at their other location. Wont be giving them my business again.

About two weeks ago, I went and adopted a bunny from Panhandle Pet Supply. The entire staff was very nice and answered any questions I had. The bunny was in great shape when I got her and is still in amazing shape. Would recommend for anyone looking to get a bunny.

The conditions the snakes were kept in was disgusting. There was shed and feces everywhere. The snakes had no hides. One snakes hide was too small. Almost all snakes had stuck shed. Their water was dirty. The owner was there so he knows exactly how the tanks look.

Best place to shop for premium cat food. They have bigger cans of premium cat food that helped me save some money. The staffs were very friendly and also offered me $0.10 discount per can if I purchased 12 cans of cat food (it can be mixed brands).

Very clean shop. They had the absolute best selection of Habitrail and Crittertrail accessories in Tallahassee, even better than the nationwide chain stores. Hamster selection was extremely limited, but they offered to order what we wanted.

Friendly and helpful staff. Variety of toys, pet foods, pet carriers, bird cages and bird perches. Many aquariums and aquariums accessories. Lots of different types of pets sold here too.

A tad bit expensive and not so knowledgeable staff. I usually go here to get feeder mice when Carols is out, but prefer Carols due to lower pricing and knowledgeable staff.

Ive been shopping here since when it was in the Oak Valley Publix complex next to Eckards !! Friendly staff, good prices, better then Petsmart on my dogs food !
