Great Store - Great Grooming! I took my yippy 1 year old dog there to get groomed. She needed it badly - she was a fur ball. First, it was a very good price. Then I saw on Saturday (I have to take her only on Saturdays) how busy it was and that people brought their dogs in on a walk-in basis to get toe nails cut. Even so, my dog was ready when the groomer said she would be. My dog looked Great and the groomer said she was well behaved and actually acted like she liked my dog! I was surprised - really surprised - because when Ive taken her to a private groomer (much more expensive) they thought she wasnt well behaved. I Really Appreciated getting a good grooming experience - especially on a Saturday. I will Definitely Come back!! I will definitely recommend this store to others who want a dog grooming. She did a Great job on my dog! (I cant do it myself) I cant believe she got through all that fur so quickly and efficiently and with patience and a smile! This must be a very popular store. Plenty of easy-access parking. The prices were good. The place is easy to find on Grand River Ave, across from Tenpennys. There is grass to the side of the store for having the dog do business before coming in the store. The workers were friendly and helpful and the checkout was efficient and fast.

Pet Supplies Plus is where i always go and will continue to go to buy dog food. However, I will NEVER take my dog to the groomer there. First, the woman was rude. Second, my golden lab (who never cries form being in a kennel, and is the happiest most loving dog I have ever met) was whining when I came to pick him up. Third, he was there for more than THREE HOURS and still was not dry when I picked him up. Also, he was the only dog there when I dropped him off and three other dogs were waiting to be picked up (and who were dry) And lastly, every time I have been back the dogs in the grooming area are all crying and barking. Which in most places is understandable, however, it is excessive and completely out of the ordinary for a grooming area. I will NEVER expose my dogs to that horrible place again. EVER. Also, listening to her give people advice about the health of their dogs, and being a vet student, I am utterly appalled by the lack of knowledge this woman has, about dogs. The people in the store are great and knowledgeable, except whoever decided to hire that woman as a groomer,

Clean cages; aquariums are pretty clean, but not as clean as if like to see. Friendly employees. Good variety of supplies and animals. I can tell they care because they are trying to rehome a half-grown Oscar quickly for only $20, even though it is worth much more because they know their tanks are inappropriate sizes. That displays knowledge of proper care and a desire to give the animals a good life, and this is a rare trait in the chain pet stores. This alone makes me want to shop there again. Keep it up, PSP of howell.

After shopping for a while, and watching a rabbit get adopted, I was pretty content with how the care was with the animals. However, my father nearly ran into a small aquarium that was on the floor near the rabbit cage. Inside was a small gerbil with a small mostly empty water bottle and little food, and no shelter to sleep in. They claimed the gerbil was being mean to the others, and that they forgot to put him back on top of the rabbit cage, but that is inexcusable for a small creature.

Family owned by one of the friendliest people youll ever have the pleasure of meeting. Has an amazing rescue that adopt out kittens and puppies there that actually help start training them before you adopt them and has all their medical needs taken care of, microchip, spay/neutered. If they dont have what you need they will order it for you

Everyone is so friendly. The owner is almost always there. He will custom order for you and help anyway he can. When I had questuons about dog food he helped me pick out an amazing brand and when I came in to pick up more food, he remembered me and followed up on how the foid was working out for us.

Dropped my daughters dog off to be groomed , was the worst hair cut ever! Thought I would look around not impressed with the staff the young man passed me several times and never asked me for help and the place was kinda dirty.... Especially the animals!

Loved it there! Got two baby lopped eared rabbits there and they are in perfect health! They also have such a big variety of pets you can get! If Im to want them to get one thing to add to the store would be birds!
