TRACY SNEED
Well Micheal I have the same issue you have. I bought my car from the Drive Time on airport freeway. When I first bought the car it was fine. Starting finding problems with it a couple months like ..when it rained the passenger side doors would leak water. OK might be a easy fix since it wasnt covered under the warranty. Then I started having a major problem with the car. First the car would idle to 3 or 4 RPM while in park. Then the car would studder while my foot was on the break like it was going to cut off. Sure enough the car would just cut off. Worse off all if Im at a stop light the car lunges forward as if I put my foot on the gas. I called Averex explained what was going on. They sent me to get the car looked at. The service station I took it to said it was the transmission. They kept my car for 2 weeks...replaced it.... had to come out of pocket for a rental all to find my car was doing the exact same thing I took it in for. Fast forward my car has been at the service station 3 times since December...i have had to rent a car each time... and guess what.... Still doing the same thing. Now... On my way to pick up my child... The car lunges into traffic.. Almost hitting another car. Once again I called Drive time... They told me to call customer service. I did. They told me I had to take back to the same shop I just picked it up from for repair. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! When I asked about contacting corporate.. The women told me all they would do he transfer me back to customer service. They said there was nothing they can do about it or getting me out of this deathmobile. Oh and by the way... This car is still doing the exact same thing..today. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! To the owner... I see you responded to the customer service comments but none are for those with actual car issues.. Hhhmmm... Interesting!!

I went online seen the car I wanted came in the next day and got the process started right up. After a couple of minor set backs and a tad bit going back and forth Katrina Jones stepped in and found a like just like the one I wanted and for a little bit cheaper and I am proud to say I will be walking out of here tonight a very happy woman with exactly what I wanted and at a very great price. The people here at DriveTime in Irving are actually very calm and patient with because I will admit I was getting a little worked up but Kevin and Katrina kept a smile throughout it all and Eric made sure he stayed on the phone trying to help his team members stay on top of making my husband and me very satisfied customers. Thanks DriveTime for making helping us get the car we wanted. Need a car please come out and see Katrina and walk out smiling with a full tank of gas. You guys and gals have my vote. #1 in my book.

I had a good experience in getting a car with DriveTime. Honestly, I took longer with getting insurance on it than anything else. What I had a horrible experience is their warranty process. I can say that its probably better to fix it yourself than to go through the headache. I went into a Sears automotive place because my brakes were squeaking a little under 2 weeks after getting a vehicle from DriveTime. Apparently Sears does the maintenance work and it was who I was referred to during my contract signing. I went in on a Saturday and didnt get an approval until Tuesday. The work was done pretty quickly but not all was covered and that same day, my brakes were still squeaking! I have to pump a couple of times to get it to stop. Im planning to get the work done on my own rather than go through that again. Thanks but no thanks.

After a week of purchasing a car Ive had to take it to the auto repair shop because it started over heating. Found out that drivetime let me drive off with ZERO water in the engine. There was a leak and rust all over the engine. Then the check engine light turned on. After a week in the shop I find out the ENTIRE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. I cant afford a rental car on top of my regular payment, Im having to pay someone to cover my shifts at work and I lost money on a work trip that I was supposed to attend and drive to this past weekend. I feel so wronged and felt like drivetime took advantage of me by selling me a faulty car. The car is still in the shop and I still have no way to work. Each day missed is not only money lost for not working but $100 a day to have my shifts covered.

It all began as an excellent customer experience then it just went downhill from there it was time consuming then my vehicle had issues so they "fixed" it and worked for a bit but about a month later my truck is popping up all these error codes, my drivers side parking light circuit no longer works, it idles rough, and it shut off on me on the freeway with my kids in the backseat! That is extremely unsafe and unacceptable, and when I tried calling about these issues the guy said he would call me back and we would have a conversation with corporate which NEVER happened. Please use EXTREME caution when doing business with this place.

My first thought about drive time was ummmm NO! I wanted to go to a dealearship that was well know not what I thought was a tote the note. Dyksn Tryck and the other sales people Josh Harper and Sales Manger Eric Taylor total changed my mind and my husbands mind. We were not pressured into anything I did not want. I got to take my time looking for that one car I wanted. They even bought in a car from another location for me. I changed my mind like three times before I found the perfect car. It took me over a month but once I did I had no problem getting into it. I have and will be recommending Drive Time Irving.

Joshua Harper, Drive time Irving Britain road From the moment I walked into this building a month ago, I was given hope that I would get my dream car because Joshua gave me so many options. I appreciate that despite the fact that a lay off and school debt had ruined my credit I was still given another chance. He offered an amazing layaway program which was awesome. I was actually able to come up with my down payment without the program. The point Im making is that good people and good cars are hard to find and drive time made my car buying experience unforgettable. Thanks Josh !!!!

Buying a car from DriveTime was the easiest car-buying experience Ive ever had! Justin, my sales rep, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Mark, the manager, as well as the other staff there was very friendly and helpful. Everything was presented up front... numbers and required down payment. There were no credit hassles... and no haggling from the staff. They moved a car that I was interested in from the Arlington location, and put me in it. Seriously, I never thought buying a car could be SO easy. I recommend DriveTime to anyone who is looking for a car.
