First of all before I even talk about the vehicle I must say my sales guy JOHN MAYBEN was very helpful and part of the reason I traveled from Alabama to Texas to purchase this vehicle. I was not always able to talk over the phone so i use text messages to communicate with him. He responded very promptly every text no matter what time(on or off the clock). I had to write him over 200 messages during this whole ordeal and man he was on point and did not miss one text. Its all about the customer experience and dam he was good. He picked me up from the airport and when i came to the shop my car was sitting outside(Oh yea they keep vehicles indoors--A HUGE plus) When i say this is a top notch dealership i mean it Really is. You can tell they take pride in what they do and John Mayben put me first before anything.Again, The experience was EVERYTHING, more than my car. That says a lot. He threw me the keys and told me to go drive it.The car was everything they said it would be and then some!. I searched the United States for this specific vehicle and P.M. Standley had the best deal. I spent about 30 days researching this vehicle and spent an additional week investigating the company. Yes i am very detail oriented if you cant tell. I would shop here again with no hesitation and John Mayben would be who i would call to make it happen. The whole staff was very friendly, not pushy or anything. Applied for financing on a car on their lot, didnt hear anything back for a day and a half before emailing the financial representative that had been assigned to me in the automated application process. Upon explaining to him that I was very interested in their car and that I was in the market for a vehicle right now, the finance guy emailed me back telling me he "really didnt want to have to do the leg work on trying to line up a loan for that car and that he had pulled me credit score" and proceeded to tell me that it was 100 points lower than all 3 credit bureaus had quoted to me just hours earlier. "You arent going to be able to get the car you want" he said. I emailed back telling him that his characterization of my credit was wrong (the credit he "pulled" never did show up on my credit report) and that I had no intention of settling on my car. He emailed back and said that he or someone else in the finance office would call me the next day with an update. Never got the call. I found another dealership who had the car I was looking for with an equivalent number of miles and the same performance package on it and they were much more motivated and had a loan lined up for me in a day... Contrary to his assertion that I wouldnt be able to get the car I wanted, the very next dealer I contacted put me behind the wheel of the car I wanted. Meanwhile I was on day 4 with Brookhaven and getting the run around. Dont waste your time with them. They arent interested in working with you and they dont keep their word.

We needed a new vehicle and we needed it right away. Despite knowing what I wanted I had walked away from 4 other dealerships before PM Standley because theyd rather play stupid games then sell me a car. When we got to PM Standley we were at peak frustration. We asked to see a car on their website, they quickly located the car, let us test drive it to our satisfaction, answered any questions or concerns we had (minor, superficial damage on the vehicle), and once we made a decision to purchase they moved us through the process as quickly as possible. Bert took great care of us, was very patient, friendly, and after being informed of our horrible experiences at other dealerships was great about keeping our frustration levels to a minimum. If you want to visit a car museum where everything is for sale, this is your dealership. The lady at the front desk showed off some cars to us and even started up a very nice Chevelle while we waited for the vehicle to get gassed up and inspected. They get a lot of classic cars and contemporary muscle in addition to the usual used cars, but they go overboard getting them cleaned up and presentable. They were more than happy to let us look around while we waited and went out of their way to point out and let us look over some of their more unique cars while we waited. If you want a no hassle knowledgeable sales staff to work with you, I recommend them. We will definitely be looking to them again in the future.

Tried to purchase a car here and wasnt too happy with what I was told. The salesman I worked with (I belive his name was Mark) was awesome, very personable and did try to help me. However, in the process of trying to obtain financing I was called back and told that due to my credit I would be looking at a minimum of $10,000 down on a $26,000 car... I had $3,500 at the time for a down payment. I asked if I brought a co-signor with stellar credit if it would help. I Received a call back a few minutes later and was told that the manager said that it would not help me at all. Very odd, especially seeing as how they didnt even attempt to try and run it. I called Carmax a few days later with no co-signer and the same down payment on a $28,000 car. Not even 20 minutes later I received an offer with a great interest rate and drove home with it that night. The only reason I am giving them a 2 is because I felt that the salesman was awesome and did want to help. Their management, however, seems extremely lazy for not even attempting to try to get me financed with a co-signer. If you have not-so-stellar credit, dont waste your time here unless you are willing to put down nearly 40% on your car.

***UPDATE*** So the brand new compressor that was put it started to fail (which by no means is PM Standleys fault). However, Bobby drove a very nice rental out to me in Dallas during rush hour to switch cars so I would not have to drive it until they fixed it. Overly impressed by this establishment! I can not express how grateful and appreciative I am for their wonderful customer service and outstanding, above and beyond workmanship. Thank you for looking after me and driving all this way! Bobby is the best! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will never go to another mechanic again. Bobby took great care of me while I had major work done on my CRV. They always kept me up-to-date on when the work would be done while they had me in a loaner. Now my car is running smooth and like new. They have wonderful customer service and like I said before, I will never be going to another mechanic again. I was very impressed! Keep up the great work you are doing.

Rick and the crew at PM Standley are truly one of a kind. The most enjoyable, easiest, hassle free car buying experience of my life. I spoke to Rick on the phone at about 9:15am after finding the SUV I wanted the night before on their online inventory.
