This is a clean and inviting store. The employees are friendly and attentive. I would say the store is comparable to a small town version of Petco or Petsmart with similar pricing. It was entertaining to see hamsters rolling around the store in their exercise balls the first time I visited. They have other small animals and fish as well if youre interested in that. The selection of cat food and snacks as well as supplies leave a little to be desired, though. The dog selection of everything seems larger. There is a lot more variety at Chuck and Dons, especially of specialty and higher end food and snacks. That being said, I was offered the chance of a special order for a specific food brand they carry because they do not carry the flavor my pet eats. I appreciated the offer. I think people with pets who are not special needs would be well-served by what this store already has in stock, though. In the end, my continued patronage will come down to if their rewards program ends up matching or beating the quarterly rebates I get from Chuck and Dons. The cost of the food I order is the same price at both places. Pet Supplies Plus is a little more convenient of a location, though.

Here you have great customer service and great products to chose from. You will never leave unhappy from this place. The workers here are extremely nice and they actually show that they care about you and your pet. You can spend minutes off end just talking to the staff about almost anything, pet related or not. Here you get the attention that you never get at other pet stores such as Petco, or PetSmart. They will carry your items out without hesitation and no tip is needed. The coolest thing about Pet Supplies Plus is their self service dog wash, where you can bathe your dog yourself for $10, they provide you with everything you will need. Im extremely happy that this pet store was opened here in Crystal. It is local and convenient.

Reason angry at staff. I bought expired food. I have used expired food plenty of times. What is questionable is honesty in how old the food is bc the hairball remedy in the science diet was completely gone causing a serious hairball problem which can be fatal. Staff did not care. Manager lady only told me it was a fantasy that the remedy would still be effective. Is this to say that they sell food so old the remedy expires with no warning? Hairball remedy is like unto a medicine for preventing a life threatening illness. Is the manager saying that I should expect the food to be without the vital ingredient? Wow. Total insensitivity to my situation with my per. Are they not supposed to care about animals? But not my animal?

My sister and I were here recently to bathe our dogs. A seemingly friendly at first employee came back and yelled at us after we were unable to bathe 3 dogs in 30 min. Shut the water off on us multiple times and then blamed us because we "went over the alotted time for bathing one dog" (because they only punched the bath card for one dog instead of the 3 muddy dogs we walked in with all at the same time, its somehow on us). Another gal that was in there towards the end also got the water shut off on her when she was trying to rinse the soap off her small dog. I would never get away with talking to a client at my job with even close to the amount of disrespect that the associates here used on us.

I had never heard of Pet Supplies Plus. I was very pleased with the store over all. They had a good selection of cat and dog food. Most of it was very reasonably priced. They sell small pets here but they all seem very well cared for. I went for cat food. They definitely have a good selection of some of the better brands. I also found a cat tree that was such a good deal I couldnt resist getting it. The staff here is always very helpful and friendly. Great store. 5/5

I love Pet Supplies Plus, but I have to say the atmosphere in Crystal is like a morgue. No fun, no smiles and I heard the manager "coaching" an employee. I almost stepped in because the manager was so condescending to her employee. This is a franchise and they have taken all the fun out of shopping with my pet. Multiple times at this location and clearly needs a lesson in keeping employees and customers engaged and creating an enjoyable environment. Who owns this store?

Love it here! They have everything I need at really reasonable prices. I can bring my animals and the staff treat them like they are their own. The environment is so calm and welcoming. The staff are more like friends. Whenever I have any questions, they are more than happy to answer. Its never dirty in there, and the best is that my animals love it there! Seriously an awesome place never had a problem here!

Great neighborhood pet store. Employees are always super friendly and helpful, not to mention patient when your kid wants to "hold the bunnies". I love that they also have a self-wash dog bath in the back too. Itll save my bathroom from that mess!! Id def check them out before heading to Target or God forbid, walmart.

Everything is beautifully cared for, especially the small animals. Its lovely to see the little birds looking so healthy and singing so much when compared with other places like PetSmart. I wont shop anywhere else anymore, though its not as close as some other places.
