The few people I interacted with at this store were incredibly helpful. 2 of the reps walking around the store, a guy named "Guy", a girl who Im not sure her name, & the dog groomer today. When asked, the dog groomer gave me some good advise in buying clippers & in how using thinning shears after cutting around the face would help with choppiness. I thought that was a helpful tip. Also, Guy was great to talk to, knew a wealth of information when asking a few questions in particular. He also had a very engaging personality. We had recently switched to Hills Science dog food which seemed to be helping but still had questions like if Grains are really that bad for dogs or not. I could go on about what I learned from him but the main thing is having confidence in our purchases when there is so much to choose from. If you need help with anything, I would recommend this Petco for the friendly and helpful staff.

Cashier on her cellphone when I came in -- no customers in store - I questioned lack of fish with their saltwater system (salinity at 1.027). Was told never to come back by employee. After watching their saltwater aquariums over the last 5 visits to monitor their condition - I would say it is improper maintenance and poorly designed system incapable of handling new fish, along with a total ignorance of prevention of diseases. Chances are most of the fish die. PETCO - YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS STORE. A TOTAL LACK OF REGARD FOR ANIMALS IMPORTED AND UNDER YOUR CARE. CERTAINLY INCAPABLE OF EDUCATING YOUR CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT TO DO YOURSELVES. AND I DONT MEAN JUST THE EMPLOTEES. AND IF THIS IS HOW THIS DEPARTMENT IS TAKEN CARE OF -- CAN WE ASSUME THAT THE REST OF THE ANIMALS ARE ALSO NEGLECTED?

Went with the family to stock our 55 gallon tank. Looked at fish for a good 30 minutes with no associate offering assistance. I finally went and tracked a guy down over in the dog area to help us. He followed me back and gathered the supplies that he needed, and looked at me and said, this guy needs fish too, pointing to another customer, and that guy pointed to the fish that my daughter picked out and said that he would take them all.... My daughter started crying... and she continued to cry for the 30 minute drive home. Hows that for customer service? Nothing like making a 6 year old cry.

The trainer who works there told me I was stupid for wanting to buy the specific product I was looking for. I had done my research, and knew what I needed, but for at least 20 minutes, the trainer refused to help me with what I needed. He insisted I do things his way. To be fair, I did try the product he pushed on me, and immediately saw that it couldnt work for my dog, so I went with what I wanted originally, feeling stupid because he had told me not to get it. It was exactly what I needed. I will never go there again. They are terribly rude and snobbish.

The groomers are great! The manager there does a fantastic job of custom styling my two dogs. They are through cleaning ears, teeth, trimming nails properly. As for Petco itself, this store is is good as any other Petco.

Great Store just wish there was more of them like near Eads Colorado to get to that Store I have to go 95miles I think even if you put a store in Lamar that would be only 40miles away so HOW ABOUT A NEW STORE O.K.

Ive had good customer service when I visit! There isnt a great variety of saltwater creature options and they are kinda pricey but in my experience they are healthy.

Grooming salon was great. Patty did our little dog and he looked amazing. The ladies in there were really great with dogs. Super nice
