Found the place to be pretty good, and they have a decent selection. But if you order something that is not in stock, they wont followup to give you a good ETA on your order. In my case they told me my order should arrive in 1-2 weeks... then 2 weeks later i call and they said that it was on a truck coming from the west coast. A week after that, i got a voicemail saying that the wilderness kayak folks would take another month to get my order finished. My order was for a pungo ultralight kayak. My biggest issue did not the customer service but the fact that they didnt verify my order with wilderness and tell me the real amount of time it would take.

i bought two boards each one more than $1500 plus the paddles and pump, total almost $5000 one of the boards was leaking air, brought it back to the store. Took 2 months. no body cares specially the manager, no one single word of explanation or apologies, he did not care at all, when i received the board again was without the special bag, very dirty, like second hand board. please dont buy there, you will be better in any other store.

I had been shopping around for a kayak for almost a year. Id been into multiple shops in and around Miami. Liquid Surf and Sail has the biggest selection by far. When I finally made my decision, I wanted a color they did not have on the floor. Fortunately, they shipped the exact boat I wanted from one of their other stores in Florida to the Miami location at no charge to me. Three days later I was on the water.

I was on the market for my 3rd kayak and decided to go with a Jackson Kayak Kraken. Jim and Danielle are very knowledgeable in the products they offer. I wanted a boat for big water fishing and they pointed me immediately in the right direction. The store carries absolutely everything you could want for the paddle sports enthusiasts. This is by far the best buying experience Ive had.
