Here i was in a town that was more known for the night life than the surf scene but i needed some baggies to get in the water. After checking out some of the other shops that google recommended, i found this shop to be the most equipped. This place was stocked with everything, i mean everything!!! From surfboards of all sizes to skim boards, wakeboards, skateboards and hell, they could even get me a stand-up paddle board. The whole staff surfs so they were on it with all my questions. All in all, hands down the best and biggest surf shop in Miami and they made me want to not only come back on my next visit but just even hang out at the store. Thanks Island Water Sports for the hospitality and good times!!!!

Wow Wow Wow.....I cant express more how well I was treated at this store on my first visit. Have you ever felt like the business you are dealing with really cares about what your looking for and cares about the fact that you know facts and not hype about the product your buying? Scott at IWS Miami did this for me and my wife. He went out of his way to make sure that we knew all we could know about Paddle boards before we bought one. We are so grateful because we bought the right boards the first time and not just boards that were sitting on their shelf. Really go and see for your self., test um and try um.. They really care. Ive been coming to this place since I moved into the area about a year ago. Since the day I met Scott Ive been finding excuses to stop by and chat for a few minutes!! Great guy running a great business! The staff is laid back, knowledgeable, and approachable. Awesome selection of products from all the major brands. Ive gotten everything from penny boards and wake boarding gear, to clothes and bathing suits. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Having never surfed before and trying to get into the sport, walking into a surf shop can be a rather daunting experience. I was immediately put at ease by the staff and was not treated like "just another sale" as i had been in other businesses. The wealth of knowledge and experience the staff/owner bring to the table is impressive along with an approachable mentality makes this business a great option for the beginner and advanced surfer alike.

I was born and raised in North Miami and have been shopping IWS for a long time. I recently got into stand up paddle boarding and they were extremely helpful in getting me on the right board with the right paddle. Even if youre just bored and wander in to chat and watch their surf videos, they are always friendly and welcoming. Stop by and check out their great inventory of stuff.

I drop by this surf shop all the time to get my water sports supplys and skateboard gear for my kids. Dana and Scott are always super helpful and friendly to my whole family. These guys know there stuff and are great surfers themselves I have heard. I think Im going to get a SUP board from them soon. He is always selling those every time I go in there!

Love these guys! So helpful! I have purchased all of my paddle board stuff from them. Last purchase was a Riviera 92" Nugg. Rides amazing, great price, knowledgeable staff! Plus its close to Oleta if you forget something on your way to the park! Keep up the good work guys, thank you for everything.

I visited this place for the first time today and Arnie was super helpful! He took the time to show me different longboards and explained which he recommended for beginners. The shop has a great atmosphere, seems to have a nice selection and fair prices, and awesome staff.

I have been shopping at IWS for over 20 years - since it was on 163rd street and 2nd avenue. They have everything you could need in one shop!! The staff is awesome and its a great neighborhood surf shop!

Thats a horrible store! They are selling cracked stuff. I bought the skateboard and then found out it was damaged, brought it back next day and they refused to take it!

This place is great. Everything you need for surfing, skating, and stand- up. Nice to see a shop where the owners and employees actually surf and skate. Big up!!!!!
