It has become a game with me. Again today, as always, I walk into the store, catch the eye of an employee, they always look away. I walk around the store, stopping to view merchandise here and there. I dont remember the last time an employee asked to help me. Not once in the past five or six visits for sure. I see employees standing around in clumps, laughing. I see employees fiddling with merchandise. And always, just like today, I walk out of the store without a single word being uttered to me. If I managed this store I could double sales just by teaching customer service. But Ill play again soon, to pick up a packet for a race, or to shop for something I need, and Ill expect what Ive come to constantly experience: no service. Thats not hearsay, or a one time experience. Thats every time. Remarkable.

Nice store, friendly employees. No doubts there. The problem arises with their "unmatched fit" process. Keep in mind, these folks arent podiatrists, they are salespeople. Of course they are going to "find" product to "put you in". They measure your feet (takes seconds to do that at any shore store), watch you "walk", and magic....out comes a few pairs of shoes and inserts in the hundreds of dollars range. And heres the kicker---they wont refund your money. You can exchange for other shoes or inserts within 60 days, but that is where the story ends. I bought exactly what they recommended to me and I still have the problems that I had before I walked into their store. I spent a lot of time in there and also quite a bit of money, and I cant get the time or the money back. I am now heading to the podiatrist.

Love the service from Mackenzie, I walked in looking for 36 inch children show laces that you dont keep in stock. Never fear someone called over to New Balance and they had them in stock. While they were calling over to New Balance I was explaining my problem with my shoes to Mackenzie. She was telling me that I needed to get another 1/2 shoe size up due to my second toe nail getting lifted and turning black. I had no intentions of buying a new pair of shoes and walked out with a new pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 17s size 11. In my 42 years on this planet I have never worn a pair of 11 shoes and let me tell you my feet have never been happier. Thank you Fleet Feet. Mark Anderson

The genuine warmth & caring that you receive when shopping at the Winston-Salem Fleet Feet is bar none. Their staff are so knowledgeable when it comes to their products & which product is best for each individual. Myself & many friends have gone there with painful foot issues due to running in the wrong shoes & in every instance theyve been able to correct the issues by analyzing our gaits & fitting us in the proper shoe for our individual gait. Our family & friends have been shopping there for 10-12 years now. Theyre simply the best!

First, they know their stuff! The staff is friendly and helpful; every time Ive shopped there, whoever assisted me took his/her time with me, really listening to my needs or questions before figuring out what would be the best fit. You dont get that from chain sporting goods stores or a website! I also appreciate all Fleet Feet does to contribute to our community, whether through training programs or races or fitting people who cant afford running shoes with shoes; they live service, and thats what makes me come back again and again.

Ive been a runner for many years, but have always been a "whatevers on sale" buyer from the big chain stores. My wife convinced me to go to Fleet Feet yesterday and get fitted. I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is - every single one of them! I came out with a pair of shoes that I know are right for me. This store does so much to encourage an active lifestyle here in our community and are just great people all around. Go check them out, you wont regret it!

Had my first experience at Fleet Feet and it was incredible. In 30 minutes I learned more about my feet in shoes than what I learned the rest of my life. The associates are runners, athletes, and physical trainers so they obviously know and use their products. Best running store Ive ever seen. Everything is lined up great and easy to find most gear. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about running and injury prevention. They found the right shoe for my needs and as a result Im no longer bothered with plantar fasciitis pain! I recently moved to Charlotte but if I am ever in Winston I will definitely stop by the new store location!

I love Fleet Feet for all my running gear (food, drink, shoes, clothing and more). They are great with running and stride analysis to get you in the right shoes for comfort and fit. They let you run around and move with the shoes to see if they work for you. The shoes can be pricey but they are top of the line products. Very friendly staff and great location near five points.
