I spent close to $3,000 at this place. They were happy and nice to take my money and the furniture is beautiful, but the customer service and deliver of service is hideous and then the owner wants to argue you with you and over talk you when you complain. I received a furniture set to which they sent some guys who could barely lift it or figure out how to take it in, then I had to help them figure out how to do their job in getting it through the door. As if I didnt learn my lesson, I purchase a dinette set from them. They never told me it had to be assembled, so they dropped of the set, I had to hire someone to come put it together and when we opened the boxes, it was the wrong set. After complaining they did come back out and bring the correct set, but I had to hire the person to come back out later that day, and when we opened the one box there was no hardware and it was broke. By this time, I am totally upset and disgusted! So I call the store for a resolution and to ask they come, replace the table and put all pieces together without charging me a dime, and was told, they would replace the table, but I had to pay for assembly! Ridiculous. So after getting upset because one of the owners wanted to start a shouting match with as to why I had to hire someone to come out twice which was totally beside the point of them rectifying what they screwed up, I had to hang up on him and call back and speak with another individual, who wasnt an owner, however much more easier to deal with.... after much convincing of my case and threatening to take them to court because they refuse to refund me when I said just come get the set and give me a refund. It was at that point.they agreed to come out and fix it, but at this point I dont want it and have filed a claim through my paypal account which is how I paid for it.,

I had an awesome experience at Furniture and Discount Store on May 17.2016. From the moment I walked in the store i was acknowledged with a warm welcome. The customer service from the sales person to the check out clerk was courteous. They were very patient while I decided what I wanted, explained the warranty options in detail. Explained what to expect with the delivery. The discounts are great so why dont you come over and Join the Kings Court where your actually treated like royalty. My initial experience with the store was great but once it was time for delivery the customer service is awful. I will never deal with the store again its not worth the aggravation. The delivery charge does not get furniture put together so its as good as ordering off line. As a single woman what am I supposed to do about putting a dinette set together. That information should have been provided at the first visit not when the furniture is delivered. My daughter got her furniture delivered out front of her house because the delivery guys said it wouldnt fit. I had to leave work for my daughter to get furniture up steps and into her apartment that these experienced guys just could not get into her apartment. Call the store and they stand by the fact that the delivery people said it wouldnt fit. No customer service there. There is so much to complain about. I received my dinette set with display model chairs and was told they couldnt be ordered. Really Im not paying for used chairs at all. Please make sure that you get the warranty on anything you purpose. My other daughter bought furniture in Feb. well the bottom is coming off and the springs are popping out. I call them and was told to contact GBS, really it hasnt been a year yet. This place is the dumps and any sale that you might get will just be frustration later

My wife and I purchased a new king size mattress which now has become one of the worst purchases weve ever made. Dont get me wrong, the store itself, located in Carlisle, PA, was great with the staff, etc. However, from the date of delivery until now, its been horrible. To start, the delivery truck put two gouges in our driveway, and didnt even have the common decency to notify us of their mishap. We noticed it later that day when heading out to check our mail. We immediately contacted the store, and they put a claim in. We were redirected to their customer service center, then redirected to the insurance company. After having numerous contractors, which they sent out, to do an estimate, tell us that a patch job was not the best way to go to properly fix the damage to the less than two year old driveway, we were then told we ourselves had to have a contractor come out to assess the damage. Upon having an estimate drawn up, the insurance company said theyd send their own person out to assess the situation. Between our $3000 estimate, and their less than $200 estimate, I have become very disgusted with this company. They refuse to pay for anything more than a patch job, not to mention continue to blow off our request for a refund of the $50 delivery fee we were charged. I will NEVER do business with this company again and HIGHLY suggest that if you do ever use them, you yourself deliver the furniture to your residence.

horrible service . we came in the previous week looking to buy a reclining sofa. Ralph said that he had 3 in stock because tbey apparently buy them in bulk . didnt tell us that there were people already pre ordering the sofa that we wanted disnt even mention to us about putting a down payment on the sofa to hold it for us. so we came back today with cash in hand ready to buy the same sofa, and the sale woman said that they dont have any in stock that you have to pre order them. not even trying to make an attempt to keep our business or try to make a deal with us . we would of even bought the floor model, but it seemed like she had better things to do with her time so we left very. unsatisfied and extremely unhapp after driving an hour away to come to this place

My experience with them was horrible started off working with one salesperson which guaranteed me a price on some items that I wanted then the manager comes over and says yes you can get it for that price let me check the stock to make sure we have it in stock after finding out he has it in stock says yes go to finish the deal and then the manager says oh no we cannot give it to you for this price because I didnt know you wanted to chest with it even though he had already agreed to it and the first sales rep that I was dealing with not only seen the pictures but also seeing the price for the five piece of that I wanted but at the end they would not live up to their word nor match their competitors price I would never go there again

Buyer beware. Upon collecting the full purchase price, I was told that the only sofa in stock was the floor model. I objected and asked for an immediate refund be put back on my debit card. I was fed some story about corporate sending me a check instead. Feeling taken advantage of I had no choice but to take the undiscounted floor sample in hopes that they would credit me back for my disatisfaction. Unfortunately no one in the company had the guts to talk with me about it on the phpne. Instead I was sent some rude texts basically stating too bad. SAVE YOURSELF THE EXPERIENCE I ULTIMATELY HAD TO ENDURE AND GO TO A REPUTABLE FURNITURE STORE !!
