This is my favorite Petland location. I visit this store frequently, for all my pets needs. I have a cat, fishes and a parakeet at home. Everytime I approach a store employee with questions and concerns, I always leave the store feeling satisfied with how my questions and concerns were handled. In numerous occasions they have taken their time to explain and instruct me in basic pet care. Their patience is admirable and Im forever grateful for their assistance. The staff is amazingly friendly, knowledgeable and Ive always been treated with the utmost respect. I purchase pet food, treats, aquarium supplies, cages, collars and many accessories on a regular basis. I even had a cat name tag imprinted today while I waited, just in case my sweet cat decides to wander. Overall store appearance is clean, bright and animals are well taken care of. I love how items are so well organized and displayed beautifully. All the items Ive purchased are of excellent quality. Prices are moderate. Located near transportation. I highly recommend for all your pets needs.

The staff lie to your face but in a nice way. Long story short do your own research know what you want exactly and just come in and get it and leave. Dont bother looking for advice unless its not reguarding a purchase because they will tell you whatever suits Thier sales. Having to waste one of my days off just to correct an issue that could of been avoided had the sales person not been greedy trying to a make a few extra bucks like a low life scum bag. Also quarantine all fish purchased here for two weeks because they often get sick or die fast.....

This is the worst petland ever. More stuff than pets. The fish selection especially the tropical aggressive is the worst. Everytime you ask why are these conditions in existence they say " oh we have a new shipment coming in, come Wednesday lol, so repetitive. Fyi how can you securely purchase fish in a place that constantly has dead or sick ick infested fish with other fishes. However inside the 174 st mall is a much better store, clean knowledgeable staff and great selections as well as the Westchester square location.

They have a poor cat food selection, and I wish they carried more health items as well. The dog section is better, but still could use some work. Petco and and Pet Smart certainly make the better choice when it comes to shopping for your pet, but they arent as accessible. The staff is friendly and try their best to please at least.

I use to love coming here until the older female manager took over. Shes rude and seems aggitated all the time. Overall Ive spent at least $500 here. I use to buy different small pets from fish, to lizards, to hamsters here but now I dont go in at all. Its a shame really. The other staff members are good people though.

Complete turnaround from what it was a year ago. New manager has helped make it a much better environment. John in particular is very knowledgeable and courteous to customers. Highly recommended.

Staff here is great especially Alex, I brought a defective fish tank and got it replace with no problem. Will def shop here again.

Bought two leashes in 4 days and they both broke! When i bought back the 2nd one, they said i couldnt return it! Very rude staff!
