Unbelievable!!!!!!!!! John K. Hart aka The Sales Associate with compassion and a brain. 3 weeks ago, I had a front end issue that resulted in ruining the 2 front tires. I was in Roanoke...I live near Rockwall. I had to get 2 new tires to safely get home and the truck into the shop for repairs. Today I got the truck out of the shop and took it to Discount Tire Co. (Like I have been doing since 1988...my personal vehicles, my brides, my childrens, my companys, etc. )...DTC customer for life. Especially after today. Since the tread level was getting low on the 2 remaining tires...I decided to get 2 additional tires and planned to get something to match what I recently purchased. You see...when I found myself between a rock and a hard spot a couple of weeks ago with the damaged tires...I was sold the wrong type tires for my truck. How do I know? John explained the tires recently purchased were for a much heavier duty truck than mine. He also explained the handling would not be the same as before. Without any prompting...John said,"Let me see if I can get those recently purchased tires changed out to what they need to be." 1 hour later...4 brand new tires. Exact same style as originally in my truck prior to the front end trouble. You dont find many people in todays world like Mr. John K Hart. DTC...you have an incredible asset with this gentleman and I truly hope someone tells him about this post! Many thanks to John and the DTC in Rockwall off I-30 near Ridge Rd.

Two thumbs up. Terrific customer service. Heres why : I had already researched and found the tires I wanted to purchase. I could see on their website, the tires I wanted were not in stock. They would have to be ordered. I go to the store on Friday to order the tires. Discount Tire beat every other shop I could find on price, plus, when I placed my order, the service rep told me there was a rebate. He took a little extra time to show me step-by-step how to claim the rebate on-line so I wouldnt have to mail it in. So the tires are ordered and up to this point, I feel got a great price and received good service. The service rep told me the tires should arrive Wednesday. Monday morning they called and informed me the tires were just delivered. I notified him Id come in in the morning. Next morning, I drive to the store. They looked up my order in their computer, brought my vehicle in the shop bay and 30 minutes later, done. Great price, great value, great service.

Just spent since 2 pm till 5 pm waiting inside to get ONE TIRE FIXED !! They told me just go inside shouldnt take long were are not busy. After waiting so long I go and ask is my tire almost done they tell me oh we havent even started on it .. So I left and came back and asked about my tire and they said oh is because you didnt write an invoice after I informed three guys of what I wanted to get done. Then I tell them Ive waited so many hours and they said do you want us to fix it or not?? Careless of my wasted time and extremely rude. And then I explain how long I waited and they did not even apologized and put my tire inside my car so I can take without fixing it. I drove on the freeway with a replacement tire because this guys wouldnt fix my tire. This place does not even deserve one star!! I came to another place and got it done in five minutes !!

Horrible experience here. BEWARE of a guy named John. He has a mole on his face. He is extremely rude and was charging me $250 to mount and balance 4 tires on my car. Crazy right? I have been going to discount tire for the last 7 years. He probably took me for a fool. Their staff is extremely rude and pathetic. They change numbers on the screen in real time to charge you more. Beware of this rat face guy named John. They are firing their best staff to hire these stupid goons who dont know squat about wheels or tires. I asked him a question about lug nuts. His answer was "i do this for a living". I told him thats not what i asked. Basically he couldnt answer my question about acorn style lug nuts and replied in a very rude unknowledgable manner. Beware of discount tire in Rockwall and beware of this ass named JOHN...

Have to share this. I just called Discount Tire in Rockwall to see if they can patch a tire for me. Nick, who Ive never met and dont know, is the person who took my call. After Nick said they could patch it, my next question was how long will it take and how much will they charge. He told me it would take about an hour and was completely free. Free? Nothing in life is free! He assured me it is free and all they ask is I consider buying my tires from them in the future. Nick at Discount Tire- this is the way business should be, and, my friend, you just earned a lifelong customer because you proved that youre looking out for me, the customer.

Had an appointment for Friday at 415. Got there at 420. I was told that they would not guarantee that they could get to my truck before they closed since I missed my appointment. I would have better luck in the morning. I got there 10 before they opened on Saturday still was made to wait 2 hours for tire rotation and balance. When I and why it was taking so long, they said I should have made an appointment thats the only way to guarantee it would get done in 45 min. I was also told that they had to take appointment before mine even if they were late. Let me just say that customer satisfaction is not their priority.

Shop their website because you can get better prices. You buy on their website then the tires are shipped to the store and you get an appt to have them put on. Otherwise the guy at the counter will be a little pushy. The wait is usually long, like 1-1.5 hrs long. The reason I give 4 stars is because when I have a problem with my tires they fix it with no hassles (I buy the warranty), they are polite for the most part, I can get great prices on their website and they always have whatever crazy sized tire I need. Also, they are patient with my 2 and 5 yr olds. That alone gets them a star!

Great professional staff. I am a many year customer of Discount Tire and do have a concern that in the past few years it seems like no matter what I go there for their is always a full inspection of my tires and a recommendation for new tires. Today I apparently had a screw in my rear tire (slow leak) and before I know it I needed a full set of tires even though the rear tire were about 3mm from the replacement mark built into the tire. I will give credit they did find a very worn front tire I was not aware of. So we went with new fronts and repaired the rear for now.

I cannot stress this enough- Make. An. Appointment. If at all possible, make an appointment. Everything will go much smoother and you will be out the door faster. With an appointment, on an EXTREMELY busy day, I was out in about an hour. The typical wait time for walk-ins was closer to three. My service technician was very personable and helpful. He offered options for my flat tire and we agreed on a plan of action and a backup in case that didnt work out. Lots of communication along the way, despite the seriously packed waiting area.
