They were very disrespectfult to one of my friends that went and tried to sell something and when they was saying no the guy started freaking out yelling getting in his face he was very disrespectful and i just want to say out of all pawn shops in Stratford Ct they attitude is the worst and the guy was swearing and everything and then he peiled of the drive way and today later on i am going to go to Better Buisines Bureau as soon as they open because thats not right to treat any person like that and especially when you are at work no matter what my friend respected and stayed calm as the pawn shop worker was shouting and swearing at him at his face and pawn shop worker did not and thats not right and not fair thats not showing respect at all and i pawn stuff here all the time today when they open im going pawn my stuff out of there and never fo back and they better not give an attitude because of what went between my friend and the pawnshop worker i will personally talk to Town Hall and make a complaint to and also to the mayor because that just was straight up disrespectful.

Will lives up to his name of SUPRMAN! He went out of his way to take care of a problem I created with a payment. He informed me about the mistake, and made sure that it was taken care of. Cheapest pawn shop around- any other pawn shop would give anywhere from 100-130$ for a PlayStation 4. & he offered 50$! Are u serious? Anytime Ive ever gone in there they give y the lowest blow number possible so they can ride off making mega $. My suggestion GO FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! I SUGGEST EAST COAST PAwn!!! They are nice, friendly & give u the most- plz dnt brother with "pawn king" BIG RIPOFFS.

Over the years, Ive needed some extra cash and Pawn King has always been a pleasant, easy place to do business. While there is a stigma to doing business with pawn brokers, you wont find it here. They are very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and efficient. Also, we all have more junk in our cellars than we need. Why not cash it in and pay off your dental bill?

Good to know there are still honest merchants like him in the environment. If you need something try him first. You cant go wrong.

Perfect place to get cash when times are rough.. never had a problem with picking up items or even if i was going to be late they would always work with me so i didnt lose my items.. def somewhere i would recommend friends and family to when they are in need of cash..

the worst pawn shop i ever been to... i swear to u i brung 4 bmw wheels in he said 40 each, (low ball) then when it comes time to put money up he says $40 for all of them -__- ... i go back a week later and see them on sale for $500. losers

This shop is not interested in doing business unless they can guarantee themselves a 500-1000% markup and when you call them on it they become unreasonably condescending. Too many pawnshops in the area to be talked down to by a meathead.

So much more than a pawn shop. This place has a HUGE selection of jewelry. I was pleasantly surprised by the value of all their items. The staff is very attentive. I worked with Will and he really knew his stuff.

Will always try to low ball you and as another reviewer mentioned if you begin to call them out on it they become condescending and rude. There are plenty of other shops in the area which are far better.
