I love Freddys a lot! I shop there several times during the week to pick up cooking ingredients, the latest movies, beauty products, etc. Its a great selection with good prices, great weekly specials, and a friendly staff. I do have one issue, and its becoming a HUGE one: Their staff does not enforce their rules in regards to service animals. Only animals that provide a service to individuals with disabilities should be permitted. The last few times I have gone there have been pet dogs walking around on a leash or (and this is my biggest issue) sitting in the cart where other people (including myself) put their food products. Its unsanitary. PTSD dogs, therapy, and companion animals do /not/ qualify as service animals and should not be permitted. Its kind of gross to be waiting for your deli meat in an open air deli and see a shaggy dog scratching waves of hair into the air. Its unsettling to turn a corner and see a pit bull staring right at you. Its gross to stand in line behind someone with a wet dog in their shopping cart. I love the store but this is a huge issue. Im friends with folks who train actual service animals and its really hurting the reputation of the places they work for. Freddys- please train your employees and dont be afraid to ask what service the dogs provide. One upset customer is bad, yes, but the dozens of others in the store should have a clean, safe place to go too.

I had an awful/hurtful experience at the South Salem store. I am not making an assumption here, but I believe I was treated based on my skin color by one of the associates in the Electronics department. My innocent 8 year old said: "Daddy, why is he that rude and mean to us?!" I reached out to the store manager who didnt seem to care; her response was: "Thank you for your feedback. Of course with a fake smile. I reached out to the corporate office who replayed with the same thing: "Thank you for letting us know, we appreciate your feed back". I wont go back to FredMyer whatsoever, and so my close social circle.

The prices are a little on the expensive side for regular stuff.....however if you use a coupon and they have great clearances, it is defintely worth going. This store is extremely crowded and they use some more folks at the customer service desk as it seems as though they were a bit backed up there. I waited in line at the service desk for over 20 minutes and I was only the 3rd person in line when I got there. Overall, clean store, friendly employees and one stop shopping is true to the Fred Meyer way started in the beginning of this stores existance.

This Fred Meyer has very friendly and helpful staff, and basically anything we need. We visit sometimes daily and have never had a problem with this store. One time in the Produce section, an employee gave us recommendations on apples and even gave us one to try, for free! They have a pretty decent organic/natural foods section. Occasionally Fred Meyer will have clearance sales where items (home, clothes, garden, etc.) will be an additional 70% off lowest marked price...which is a steal! The pharmacy is always quick as well.

I like Fred Meyer stores because they have huge discounts such as extra 50% off from reduced price that goes almost 70% off from an original price. I think that their staffs are friendly. Unfortunately the store on Commercial st. does not have a gus station. A Shell in the closest from my place, but charges 10 cents more than others. I normally get gas reward points less than 200, so I wish if they had aup gus station as same as the store on Market and Lancaster St. So I reduce a star from 5.

While doing the self-checkout, I complained to to person monitoring that area that it was really inconvenient for the bagging rack to be empty of bags. He told me its store policy to only fill 2 of the 4 racks. Really annoying, especially since that darn machile only fives you 1-2 seconds to get what youve checked out into the bagging area. Lucy coulda had a blast with this in one of her shows...

Always go here because I live by this Fred Meyer, but now going to Safeway in West Salem because this Fred Meyer most of the Employees are rude when you ask them a question or need help, they act like you are inconveniencing them and its makes you feel like you did something wrong. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Shame on them.

A very nice and clean place for one stop shopping especially since there are no other stores like this close in the neighborhood. The employees were knowledgeable & helpful as well. I would shop here again without any hesitation. Easy to get to since its right off of Salem Parkway which separates Salem & Keizer.

Freddys is one of my long time favorite places to shop. Can find what I need in a hurry and get going. Good quality food and other items. deli food is delicious and bakery is good too! LOVE self-checkout when I have a few items and no patience for a line! Staff is usually very helpful and friendly!

Wow Feed Meyer - youll love this store - just like I do. The employees are help full and friendly. They have alot of things at FM from cloths to food - if they dont got you dont want it. Its a great place to do all shopping. So hurry on down and see whats on sale at your nerest Feed Meyer.

Went to North Salem Fred Meyer tonight 6/14/17 with my Grand Daughter who needed a swim suit for trip to beach and the Hotel Pool. The sales lady was very helpful throughput the visit and Grand Daughter left with a smile on her face. A great experience all around!

Very racist cashier , caught her staring at my mom and little sister in a mean way LIKE SHE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM and than she smiled at me when she realized I was looking at her . I asked her a question and completely ignored me like I was dumb for asking her

People are very friendly. They have someone stationed near the checkout to answer any of your questions and help you find items. They try to keep enough Checkers on so that you dont have to wait more than a minute or two in a line.

Small store that has the aisles so crowded with extra stuff it makes it hard to manuver around. Most employees are not friendly or helpful. Not up to Fred Meyer standards. They do gave a large parking lot that is easy to access.

Fred Meyer really is a one stop shop. With sales all the time and great products and selection. The employees are always friendly and available. I really enjoy how easy it is to find what I need and want and get done quick.

Bought 75 pieces of fried chicken for a party this morning and it was amazing. KFC is right down the street and could not hold a candle to what Missy does in the Fred Meyers kitchen. Ill cater more parties from FM in the future!

Ive been shopping at the Boadway Fred Meyer in Salem lookfor 15 years. Love everybody there. Friendly staff thats always ready to help. Being a Rewards Card member really pays off and I love loading the coupons onto my card.
