Dont go in before 9AM. There is usually only one checkout lane open. Just skip trying to get doughnuts for the office at this location because you will most definitely be late to work, thus voiding any good feelings your coworkers may have had for you. Service at other times of the day is very friendly and efficient. Was absolutely devastated when they removed the self check outs. Their idea of more customer interaction is just another window to hear someones life story that you really dont want to hear after a long day at work.

After shopping here for several years, I can say that 50%-75% of the time at least one item in your cart wont match the advertised price on the shelf at checkout. I stopped shopping here because I believe their computer is intentionally set up to rip me off. It should not be my responsibility as a customer to watch every item on a receipt to ensure Im not being defrauded by a grocery store. The problem is habitual and infuriating.

The meat-produce prices are really high compared to what they were at the Safeway in Missoula. But in the other areas this place is OK. They do need to keep a watch out for these career-panhandling losers from the shelter shoplifting beer and walking out with hot-deli items without paying for them (for those who dont know, the Gods Love Shelter provides these people with 3 meals a day).

Safeway doesnt carry its customers preferred brands and choices anymore. I dont think Safeway cares about since its merger with Albertsons. They seem to only carry products that bring them the most profit. Im about to drop them as my first choice for grocery shopping.

I walk here for lunch all the time. The deli here is awesome and serve amazing sushi plates. Id recommend the deli for anyone looking for a good quick bite. They also have a Starbucks in the store thats hit or miss depending on the barista you get. Hit up the deli!

If you think both Safeways in Butte are the same, think again. The layout is different but the quality and quantity of items is larger. That may be why the other store remodeled, to bring it up to the standsrd!

Safeway recently took out the self checkouts. Im currently in line where there are two registers open, 19 groups of people in line and most have only a few items - perfect situation for some self checkouts.

Not bad. But the music was so loud that the speakers were cracking. No one needs that junk cranked up that loud. Some of the check stand employees seemed pretty stressed not the most friendly that day.

Safeway is high priced. However they add Mach. There was a few time I got rotten veggies but returned them And got fresh ones. Its a nice store all and all and the employees are always friendly

This is my main grocery store. Prices are competitive if you sign up for and use Just for U. I find that adding offers is easier with a computer than the app. Produce department is top notch.

Always has a great selection of gluten free options. The Safeway app sometimes has the wrong location for certain items, but the staff is very knowledgeable and very willing to help.

Hey its a Safeway. I live a block away, so its also my neighborhood store. Ive seen the best and worst. Improve the cleanliness and cut down the lines and it would be 5-star.

Safeway has a good selection of items I cant find in other stores. The one I was in at Helena, Montana also had local apparel and gifts. I purchased some for my kids.

Safeway is good except the hot foods deli stay away from the hot foods I have purchased multiple items that where far past there 4 hour limit and cold
