Im very disappointed in this Food City. Ive never had such a bad experience at a Food City. I was just there (7-31). This place sucks. No exaggeration. The deals are not good at all lol, theyre a joke [$1.19/lb for gala apples (mostly small and rotting); theyre $.99/lb at Frys], and if youve ever shopped at Frys, the produce is beautiful and consistent. The snacks are all over-priced; along with many other things. To my disbelief, I wouldve saved by going to a major chain. The store is dirty. There is an overall feel and smell of dingy. The refrigerator and freezer sections seem weak and barely working; feels rather warm near them. Worst part though was check-out BY FAR!! After all items were payed for and I received my receipt, and the cashier (Ill spare him his name) turned off his light. As Im moving away putting my wallet away he informed me hes made a mistake.. long story short, 3 mistakes were made.. he didnt charge me; then he overcharged me; then I got home and noticed that after all the fuss he and his manager gave me; they forgot to charge me (all different items in different, elaborate ways), in all ending with me having to pay out another $8!! -25 min ordeal!! Like DUDE REALLY!? What the hell is really going on here. Are we ok? Supervisor response: "Mistakes happen, hes human." Ya not my issue bro! Not my fault your employees are dumb-asses. I will gladly pay what I owe. Customers dont pay for a businesss incompetence, just as a business doesnt pay for the incompetence of a customer. -If I pay too much thats my problem. I shouldve been waived. -Theyre display of incompetence, and lack of professionalism is enough to make one gag. And thats if youve not already started by what youll likely have already seen. Dont believe me? Read the other comments. Dont believe them? Have yourselves a visit.. Really though, I dont recommend it. Place needs [serious improvements] on all levels.

Neighborhood supermarket has more of a community feeling than where I usually shop at a national chain. I dont come every week but sometimes the sales are great and their produce is half or less of the competitors, but be advised the stuff is ripe and ready to use with a short shelf life. I put this down to cultural diversity, in mexico people did their shopping almost daily, produce didnt need to keep, it was bought at the peak of flavor. The people that work at this store always treat me kindly with a sincere smile that goes all the way to the eyes! Dont miss the roasted green chiles in season and the grilled chicken out front, its yummy and inexpesive. If you expect Walmart Selection or the sterile perfection of Safeway or the efficiency of a Kroger, go elsewhere. What this small market lacks in those areas it makes up for in savings and heart.

Siempre me encuentro con la mala experiencia de que voy a comprar mojarras fritas y siempre las tienen congeladas y la vez que me toco me las dieron de mala gana y sabían a puro cloro. Cuando pasas por el área de las carnes el olor a echado a perder. Los baños ni se digan, super sucios! Un asco de lugar.

Was in here Wednesday evening tried to order a cake for granddaughter bday. The lady only spoke Spanish to take my order. Ended up going somewhere else then I needed cash back asked the lady at self checkout and told me I had to buy something and pointed to self checkout register. How disappointing the customer service is here. Im in management myself and would never treat my customers that way. I only had this issue in the evening visiting this store.

This place says it has a bakery b.s thier bakers cant bake to save thier lives i would highly and i mean highly recommend that no one ever buy a cake from them it was dryer then the desert and burnt at the bottom not all the frosting they pilled on helped, i gave this place one star cause the option of no stars is not available!!!!!! My dog didnt even want this hellish creation they called cake!!!!

First visit. I found the store to be clean, organized, and smell wonderful. Looked to have great pricing on produce and meat selections. Beer selection lacking with mostly domestic and imports. Zero craft that I found. They do carry liquor in front of store. Colorful area, yet charming local neighborhoods up and coming. Staff appeared friendly and attentive.

The only times I buy something here is when I have to pay my electric if I need anything from the store that is, otherwise, only go in for a minute and walkout. If I do ever buy anything, I have to wait 20 mins in line for the other customers to leave before me. I dont know if the cashiers or the system are slow buy the line always takes forever.

I went here about two days ago for groceries and I found a "sale" buy 12 Gatorade for .69c each in a single transaction but when got to the register I was told differently & on top of that the restrooms are filthy , the produce goes bad quickly....do yourself a favor dont shop here I ended up spending way too much for what I bought

I am disapointed in this Food City. Nothing was even remotely delicious. I got fresas con crema it sucked and some of the strawberries were rotten. Yuck . customer service was ok and their are no high chairs. Like wtf. Unsatisfied. This store is a mess hate it.

I have been to many food cities throughout the valley, but this one really stood out to me. I went shopping there this morning, all of their staff are so kind and helpful! Ive never been to ANY grocery store where the employees are this amazing!!!

Good prices, employees are friendly enough. They should do more about loitering and have a stricter policy with kiosk sellers though, I dont enjoy going shopping and having someone practically jump me when I get in the building.

Good product,people and Service.The deli is very slow lane.The staff need to learn that customers are #1,you can clean,etc after you get the product,sold.Happy customer satisfaction and the deli gets more business.Simple things.

This place has always been my Go-To grocery store, every other day theres a sale going on. It can range from the fruit, to the meat and even on those big family sized bag of chips, perfect for parties or for yourself.

Usually you can be in and out quickly, but occasionally the lines are a little annoying. The cashier are always nice and every time Ive needed assistance locating something they have been more than helpful!

I dont shop at Food City often unless I see something on sale does just you know catches my eye but I do love their tortillas so every time Im in the area I stopped in for tortillas the flower ones are great

Cashiers are so slow they take for ever to move a finger looks like they dont even want to be there alex is one of the slowest ones so disappointed of what has become of food city. Nothing but laziness
