This walmart is trash. Its probably one of the worst wal marts you could ever visit, ever. And now they are no longer 24/7 so I have no reason to ever visit this hell hole again. I have been going to this wal mart for years, and I put up with it because I live nearby, and is the only 24/7 wal mart around. The service is not just bad, its the worst in the retail business. Employees wandering the store with no purpose, and when you ask them for help, they also fail to help you. This wal mart is a total waste of space. The experience cannot be ranked on a 1-5 star rating, because this is flat out just total chaos, nobody knows whats going on, and the management couldnt care less, every employee around is on break and the rest are nowhere to be found. The electronics department is never there, and they often have their phone off the hook so nobody can contact them. Its on purpose, Ive been in there and seen the phone off the hook just sitting there, and not a single employee in sight. Ive ripped things off the locks just to take them to the front. I needed something one time and it was locked behind those hook locks. I had searched many other stores for it and I found it at this wal mart. After 30 minutes of standing around, asking 2 other employees to help who also failed to contact any electronic employees. I said "f**k this, and f**k walmart" I ripped it through the lock and took it to the front and exclaimed to a manager that "I basically could have stole this because nobody is back there". I paid and left. I know that nothing will ever be done about it because its been like this for YEARS. The money center is rarely open. And they will often turn you away saying they can no longer take paychecks, money orders, etc. I know what they are doing. They are too f**king lazy to go in the back and make a new vault drop and a vault grab. Every time the register runs out of money you most likely need to do some paperwork (just like any other job dealing with money) and just write down the numbers. They are too lazy to do this. I can tell they are supposed to be open when they are not. And while Im at it. The store is gross, they never have anything stocked, and its just an all around terrible retail experience. And again, now they are NOT 24/7, therefore, there is never a reason to return to this wal mart ever. I do not recommend this place, go out of your way to make the trip to robinson.

Long lines, only 3 registers open. At night, one register open or self checkout lanes where the registers are defective and have a hissy fit when you start scanning your items too fast. Apparently they too only work at the speed of SLOW, just like your standard walmart cashier. Some cashiers will refuse to price match on Aldis, sav a lot, or shop n saves food ads, some will do it but give you attitude, others dont even know their own stores price match policy and try to make it up on the fly. Their meat department is deplorable - it is NEVER stocked and what is there is usually rotten. I saw an entire case of pork chops that had spoiled already, marked down, turning brown and they werent removed from the case. Disgusting. I shop here only for papergoods, chemicals, trash bags etc and will shop aldi, sav a lot, or shopnsave for actual food. UPDATE 7 11 17: THIS STORE NOW REFUSES TO PRICE MATCH ANYTHING FROM ANYWHERE EVEN THEIR OWN WEBSITE!!! I now will no longer shop there for anything, i prefer to support local businesses.

This is the worst store in the world. Its amazing that for all the crap they sell, they never seem to have what I am looking for and when they do its defective. I have never been able to make a complaint about their horrible service because its nearly impossible to find somebody to help you and if you ask for a manager, they never come. In the electronics everything is locked up, that would be OK if it were not for the fact that to buy anything you have to search the store for 30 min for somebody to open the case and then wait another 30 min in line. Grossly understaffed and the employees whom are there are not paid enough to care about the customers. The worst part is that this Walmart closed down so many local businesses by offering lower prices. Once those businesses were closed down and no longer competitors, Walmart raised its prices. So now we have no choice but to shop in this hell hole that doesnt even have better prices. As for the rude, insane and hideous customers, dont even get me started.

Tire and lube... This place is run and manned by the most lazy people I have ever felt with in my life. I went in @ 8am. I was told it would take 4 to 5 hrs. To get my car in for tires. I took a walk in the store. Them got some food @Mecky Ds.i then walked around the outside the store to the tire bays. My car was the only one in there. Peoples were standing around like they were lost. My new tires were no where to be found. So I stayed a looked on. In my day you would be in and out in a 1/2 hr... I gust cant understand why so many works were guarantee moving so slow like they were lost.. It features I ran thar place the work getting done would double in one week. You need to shake that place up !!!!! They have a racked going from the top down to the newest man. NO ONE GIVES A DAME.... ILL NEVER GO BACK.... Poorest run tire & lube I ever saw....

Had an hour to kill while getting the oil changed and encountered terrible customer service right and left. Asked associate where an item was and they mumbled "next to hardware" and walked away. They didnt even point where I needed to go. Tried to get my haircut and the attendant told me 45 minute wait even though there was no one else in the store. Asked if you signed in she said "online". Didnt offer how or where to do this. Got great customer service at the NRG Energy kiosk. Mike helped me save on bills and got my oil change comped. I guess Pittsburgh is only friendly west of Rt 51. Moral of the story is if you find yourself at the West Mifflin Walmart with time to kill go see Mike and skip everything else. Bring him Wawa Hoagie Fest because hes from Philly.

This places "norm" is to be awful. They never stock. If something runs out you should expect to see that spot empty for months. Outrageous prices. 5 registers open out of 20. If you forget a bag as they are rushing you out in that spin wheel BS. Dont expect them to tell you. They are always wheeling it. I suspect they are told to not tell costumers if they see they left a bag, because there is no possible way they wouldnt see it, as they are always spinning it. Employees everywhere, not doing anything. I remember one employee getting mad at another department because they purposely had their phones off the hook, so no one would bother them. This place is hell.
