Dont waste your time if you are looking into exchanging or selling broken or damaged items. The website does say they take broken items and also have a list of things they do not take in. My items were not on the "Dont Take" list. So I emailed them to inquire about my items, so far it has been four days with no return. So I went by there to get them to look at my stuff. They said no to all, which wouldnt bother me if they were on the do not take list but they were not. Got no real reason why then ignored immediately while I was still standing there, glad I didnt have anything else. I wouldnt even bother with them.

I heard about The Tech Exchange from a friend of mine because my daughter broke her cell phone and we were looking for a used one. This is one of the only places in town that sold used phones and the guys that worked there were really knowledgeable and helpful. It was a very nice experience, I imagined that it would be a little seedy or sketchy but everything was really nice. We traded in some of her old video games and got store credit towards a new blackberry which was a great price. Highly recommended if you need to trade in some electronics or want to buy video games, cell phones or other electronics.

Heard about this place from a friend and went to check it out because I needed a new phone. The employees were very nice and knew alot but were able to explain it to me well. I ended up getting a really nice samsung galaxy phone with ntelos service with unlimited everything for only $55 per month. This made me super happy since I was paying $170 per month for 2 lines for the exact same service through Att. They sell other stuff as well like computers, cameras and video games but I think they do more in cell phones than anything else.

Wonderful People!! Great selection to choose from and their prices are the best in town!!! This is our #1 place to go to if we want games, phones or need to trade something in for a little extra cash. The workers are young, and sooooo knowledgeable about electronics! If you are looking for good working and cheap electronics, this is the place for you! I go here all the time and its awesome! If you are looking for a new stereo or even your favorite old video game, they have what you are looking for. If you havent been yet, make it a point to go! The employees are super knowledgeable and will help you out in any way you need. You should really check it out!

Best place to go to for all your technology needs. They have great deals on used phones, in new condition. My family buys most of their video games from there and we are always returning games there. Year round they have great deals and giveaways! You are always greeted by friendly people ready to help you. Very low prices and best customer service around! Highly Recommended!!

I came there for the first time this week after canceling my contract with Verizon. I was able to sell them my phone for a great price, and they hooked me up with simple mobile and phone, and now Im paying 1/3rd of what I used to with Verizon and I get unlimited Data!! Im going to start coming to them for all my electronic purchases and questions now.

Just visited the Tech Exchange for the first time and I am in awe. This place is nerd heaven. The store was ran great by employees with great attitudes and answered every little question I asked. The stores interface was very friendly and easy to find labels on game racks. I will definitely be visiting again

Dont waste your time...Gamestop is cheaper. Bought a controller, got home and it didnt work. When I went to return it they only gave me 80% of my money back. They stated it was company policy. What a ripoff!! That so called policy isnt posted anywhere. Ill never shop there again.

So, I cracked my brand new droid razr and didnt have insurance on it through verizon, they were gonna charge me $700 for a new phone !! I came to the tech exchange and traded in my broken droid razr for credit towards a new one ! It only cost me $300 !! These guys are great !

Awesome customer service. Great deals on used electronics. Bought my Nintendo 64 there and its still going on full steam. The people who work there are always extremely nice and friendly and very helpful. Best used electronics in Roanoke and I would not shop anywhere else.

I absolutely love this place, its a great place to pick up retro game systems and games if they have them in. They have anything from Master systems, Sega Genesis, GameCubes, PlayStation 2/ 3 and even Sega Dreamcast systems and controllers for any of the systems.

Recently purchased a used 360 Kinect there and a Wii game. They were nice to deal with and helped answer all my questions. Prices seem to be a little cheaper than Gamestop and it feels better to buy from a locally owned spot. Thanks guys!

This stir is great, I came in looking for a smartphone. Im not the best phone person but they set me up in a very cheap plan with unlimited everything and a great smartphone at a very good price. I defintley recommend it.

Large store with a pretty large amount of used games to choose from. However, a small amount of 8-bit and 16-bit games. May have been a slow trade-in area for those types.

You get great deals on products and they buy some things and give you more money than a place like game stop would I love this place its a truly fantastic tech shop
