I was in Charleston for business and decided to stop by the Apple Store to try on the Apple Watch I had been thinking about purchasing for months. Tried on the 38mm, modern buckle in soft pink leather, size small. I Decided to go on and purchase it as well as a sport band for when I go to the gym. The rep told me they had it in stock and someone was pulling it and would bring it out. After waiting 10 minutes, another rep brought it out. The guy that had been helping me rung it up ran my card and asked if I would like to set it up in the store. He said it would only take a few minutes to get it set up. Needless to say, the watch came out of the box dead. So he handed me off to another rep and went to help other customers who had walked in. The new rep explained sometimes the watches come dead and it takes a while to get them charged enough to start up. After waiting another 20 minutes it still wasnt charged enough to set up and I needed to get on the road so she put it back in the box and in a bag and sent me on my way. Not once did either of the reps check to make sure the size was correct or ask to help me fit it to my wrist. I drove 3 hours home, I was only in town for a meeting and do not live close by, charged the watch then set it up. Once I had it set up I tried it on and it fell all the way to my elbow. Well I had tried it on in the store so I figured I just needed to tighten the band all the way since the one in the store fit. I set the band to the tightest it would go, put it back on and it still fell half way to my elbow. That didnt make sense so I figured there must be another way to make the band smaller. I took the watch back off, and was trying to figure out how else to make it smaller when I saw the L on the inside of the band. Then I checked the box and of course they had given me a large band for my tiny wrist when the rep clearly stated when I tried it on that I needed the smallest band they had. Not once did the rep check the box when he rang it up or go back over my purchase before I paid for it or even allow me to look at the box before he took my money. The rep that was supposed to help me set it up never asked to help me size it or verify that I had the correct watch. By the time I got home, and realized the rep sold me the wrong size watch, the store was closed. So I contacted Apple support. They told me since it was purchased at an Apple Store ( not a reseller but an actual Apple Store mind you) I would have to drive 6 hours, to the store and back, to exchange the watch. Since I now have to waste and entire day, waste a tank of gas, and put 400 miles on my car to fix their mistake, I will not be exchanging the watch, I will be returning it and will never buy another Apple product again. I personally spent over $800 in the store today, have an iPod, iPad mini, iPad Air, iPad Pro, as well as three iPhones that are used in my household. I have always loved Apple products and never had an issue with customer service or an apple product until tonight. If you purchase from this store make sure you get the product you are supposed to. They are just looking for and easy sale and do not care once you leave the store. Even Apple will not stand behind their retail stores and fix their mistakes. Please pass this along to all your friends who plan to make a purchase in a store so they are not left in the same position as me. I will NEVER purchase another Apple product again.

For some time now my iPhone 6 has been having battery life issues where it will show as 100% charged but die anyways. Overall it probably has a charge span of no more than an hour when the phone is actually in use. That being said I first went in the Apple store King St. in May to have my phone looked at, the tech did a quick glance of the phone and told me I needed a new battery; not convinced he really cared I left and decided to try my fate with a phone rep. I later called up 1-800-My Apple and spoke to several attentive, nice, and thorough individuals. Despite their efforts they informed me I would need to go back to the store to have the phone looked at once more. Much to my chagrin I agreed and it was back to king for me. Long story short I was told another battery was due. I agreed to paying the $79.00 in order to actually be able to use my phone once more. Now the thing that really irked me is when I came back 2 hours later to pick up my phone the tech came out and said sorry we couldnt replace it. Reason? They detected some liquid damage. Solution? Pay $299.00 to have it replaced with a new iPhone 6... So you are telling me that when the iPhones battery decides to stop working properly the only solution is to buy an entirely new phone at $300!? What kind of racket is that? I would understand if this was an old iPhone 4 or even 5, but a phone that is not even 3 years old yet? Its just ridiculous. That cannot possibly be your only solution to a battery problem. The phone has absolutely no issues other than the battery life. When you charge hundreds of dollars for a premium electronic it should be able to sustain 2+ years of use. Computers, TVs, and speakers.. all things that are in constant daily use that actually last. I appreciate the helpful Apple Advisors whom I spoke with over the phone, I would recommend them giving them a call before venturing into the store. Where their only solution is to push some obscene solution on to you.

After my second visit to this store I am still leaving with an iPhone that has a screen popping less than 2 months after the screen was replaced. My expectation of Apples customer service may be high, because Im from 30 mins within headquarters and have always had great experiences with the company till I came to this location. After I spent 3 hours to get my phone fixed the initial visit, I asked that they make a note to ensure a solution if I had to come back, and the technician promised my phone would be easily replaced. I piggybacked in on a friends appointment and told them the situation. They said you can wait 2 hours for an appointment, I said cant it be done at her appointment too knowing hers would be quickly replaced, the host knew I was right and asked everyone, trying to help find a solution. They told me they couldnt do it, and I expressed my frustration then went to the appt with my friend. He then tells me that my phone is supposed have a loose screw in the screen and thats "normal"...if it was normal why did they "fix" it last time? and offer a replacement if it didnt work. Then once they finished my friends appointment in 10 mins the technician was walking around and came back to say "Im going to hang out with you all so I dont have to do anything until my next appointment comes...." UNREAL! Sir you should be replacing my phone while you hang out and do NOTHING. This store needs to get its act together and learn to provide customer service.
