My Norwegian husband and I went to look for a camera and was shown first a Olympus SZ-14 which was priced at $460.00 which was higher priced than we wanted to pay for a camera. I asked to see a Canon which Tony did show us one and then went back to showing us the SZ-14 and all the options it had. He reduced the price, included the camera case and screen protector which was for a total of $483.64 which my husband paid with his Visa Debit Card. Tony showed us a new product a Axer Mini Projector which was priced at $2,999.00 and saw that was the price on the internet. He reduced the price with taking $400.00 off the camera and giving us a Samsung Galaxy III. I asked if the Galaxy was a 16 MB which he corrected with a 16 GB and if it was unblocked and could be used in Norway which he assured me that it would work. When we went to T-Mobile they could not unlock it because of Fraud and was blocked on the same day we purchased it. I ended up having to buy another Samsung which cost $633.64 at another store. We went back the next day saying that we thought this was not a good purchase and were told that all sales are final and with no refunds. Exchanges could be made within 7 days with original receipt and original packaging which he did not give to us when sold. I called Visa and was told to send information to their Fraud department. They could not stop payment and I last I heard it would be 30 days before I would hear if they could reimburse me for some of the cost. The camera it turns out sells for under $300.00 and took 4 pictures and when I called Camera Express they told me to send it to Olympus for repair under warranty. That cost us $37.00 to mail to Olympus Imaging America and asked to have it returned to a friend who was going to visit us in Norway. When I found that they did not have the parts and could not get it to her before leaving I told them to mail it to our Norway address. They did not and finally we have traced the UPS package but it has become a problem to release it to another person. It is now at a distribution center and I hope that we can resolve this problem to be have my sister pick up and send to us in Norway. We still have not tried the Axer Mini Projector--would not be surprised if it too is a problem - afraid to try. We have learned to read the receipt before signing. If it says "All sales final - No refunds" and Exchanges within 7 days accompanied by original receipt and original packaging and 30% restocking fee it is best to shop elsewhere. It seems that with so many others that have had the same problem that Camera Express in Kissimmee, Fl should be shut down and prosecuted. I intended to write to Better Business Bureau, Attorney Generals Office in Florida and AARP regarding our experience.

BEWARE! THESE GUYS ARE NOT HONEST! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! While on vacation we decided to buy an action camera. We had just lost ours so we didnt want to spend too much. The man convinced us to buy a gopro look alike for $199. He sweetened the deal by knocking $20 off. We bought the camera that he said was just as good as the gopro. He told us if we didnt like it we could bring it back and hed sell us a gopro. We opened the box to find the accessory bags were mismatched and one was opened. The instruction book was bent and wrinkled. We charged the battery and tested the camera. We noticed a black dot on everything we filmed or photographed. (There was nothing on the lens). The sound was a constant hum that drowned out everything. I did a web search for the camera and saw that Walmart sells them for $68. I did a web seach for Camera Express and saw all the negitive comments. I knew we were ripped off. Turns out he doesnt refund money. I went back to exchange the camera for the same model, but this time made sure it works. It did. The replacement camera works okay. Not a gopro equivalent. Good enough for $68 not $170. After I got home, I then saw the price tag on the box, $479.99!!! He would sell a $60 camera for $480!! We are going to live with our mistake. But please beware of these crooks. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! THIS GUY WILL STEAL FROM YOU! DONT LET HIM!

Stay clear if you dont want to throw your money away. Store is a scam and if you do purchase anything you are likely to have been conned by either paying over the odds for standard goods, received cheap imitation / poor quality items that have marked up by around 500% or receive something that is broken / damaged or reconditioned. Looking to purchase 2 cameras where retail prices were known and thought would check if any deals were available. Manager friendly to begin with but pricing completely unrealistic, based upon the items we looked at retail price is around 20% of they have priced items at and 50% of whatever they finally offer. They then start to bundle low quality goods to try and make the deal attractive - imported lenses which you will struggle to find online (apart from various complaints from those that have been conned) priced at Cannon / Nikon pricing. Gave up on the proper camera purchases as clearly a con but daughter liked a basic point and shoot ($100) and a Nintendo DSXL which youd think would be simple purchases but as checking the boxes before paying it was evident that one was incomplete and the other was clearly a return or something that they have been using for quite a while in the shop. Would strongly recommend that you save your money and go to BestBuy or Ritz

the scum of the earth. they will not refund a purchase bought on the same day. I went in there for a battery. the guy, he calls himself Boz, piece of scum more like, tells me I have a good camera lens but a wide angle attachment will save me costs. He attaches one and tells me the edges on the photograph is due to my skylight filter. I am in a hurry to take my children to disney so I take it. at home I tried with and without the skylight and the black patches are still there. I call him the next day and he tells me he will exchange it but no refund and not even the 30% restock charges. He draws my attention to my receipt. I advise him that the information on the receipt is too late to warn customers because by then they will have paid for the goods. he says there is nothing he will do and will only offer an exchange. I speak to capital one to dispute the charges. This scum of the earth, worse done scum should be paid by credit card companies. they are really a pest (apologies to pests, because they have some use). I think based on the level of negative reviews, google should add a warning to their site. Real SCUMBAGS!
