AutoZone have worthless warranty on their Duralast batteries, I bought a truck that had a Duralast battery recently. the battery started giving problems starting, and I took the truck to AutoZone to see if the 2 year warranty would be valid. We were told that the warranty is lost the minute the truck is sold! the would not even scan the battery to see if the warranty was valid. My friend bough a Explorer the other day, and it packed up,so he took it back to Wal-Mart, who scanned the serial number on the battery, and was told it was still under warranty, and was replaced with a nominal charge. Moral of the story, rather buy a battery or any other car part at Wal-Mart, they are better priced and they honor the warranty.(I paid $245 for a 65DL battery, with core) I will never deal with Autozone EVER again. the more customers who complain against a dishonest warranty program, the quicker it will change

El Jay C is a jerk who just has no idea how to be helpful. I came in for HELP on my car running hot. I asked him if it could be the coolant, he went on and on to tell me that he would plug the car up to see what code it reads. Then he gave me a paper with a code that had NOTHING to do with the car running hot, and said This doesnt give me a clue as to what is going on with the car running hot. Well.....this guys is just an idiot. I ALREADY KNEW THAT!! I will NEVER come back to this AutoZone. OReilly is down the street and they were super helpful and checked my coolant level to HELP me figure out the issue. Get rid of this guy, he has no clue that his Job is CUSTOMER SERVICE 1st and foremost!

Horrible customer service, I came to return a ratchet still in the package and the employee know as "La Pato" like it said on her name tag was very rude claiming I had used it and trying to point out reasons not to refund. Id recommend you pass on this autozone and drive the extra 5 minutes to the one on Marsh Ln. Horrible rude customer service.

I showed up not too long before closing with the battery in my car not holding a charge. They were pleasant and very helpful - quickly helping me with the new battery, and even made sure that my car started (and remained running) after they put the new battery in even though the store was closing by that time.

Paid for replacement lugs for my car, person told me they would be in the following monday. I wait until Wednesday to go & pick them up to find out they werent even ordered. Waited an extra week to find out they only received 10 & are still waiting on the rest. So now i have to continue waiting.

Called this morning about a part. Told me they had it. I drove across town just to find out they really didnt and tried to sell me a universal replacement that I dont want. I felt deceived and I wasted my time and gas. Were gonna try not to use this place again.
