I dropped off my wife’s Infiniti Qx56 at this store on a Monday at around 11:30AM. She had a nail in her passenger rear tire, and I also asked that her tires get rotated. I got a call about 90 minutes later asking me whether the lug nuts on the wheels were original. Guy tells me lug nuts are from a dodge ram and that they didn’t fit the wheels. He also tells me they were all corroded and he doesn’t know how anybody ever got them on or off. When I go pick up the vehicle, the custom wheels are mangled. Two of the custom center caps are off of their wheels. One is dangling by one screw. Several screws are just gone. Guy gives me a card of his buddy’s shop to tell me maybe he can fix what they destroyed. Fabulous customer service indeed. I give you a nice vehicle with a slow leak in one tire and I get back a vehicle with all 4 wheels mangled. Now, here’s the real story. The vehicle has nearly 70k miles on it. The wheels have been on the vehicle since around 300 miles. The current tires are from the Discount Tire shop in Plano on Ohio Drive. The current tires were purchased on May 14th when vehicle had 28,556. So, did the Ohio store put dodge ram lug nuts on the wheels? Or did they see that the lug nuts weren’t right, but put them on anyway? Why didn’t comment section mention the dodge ram ill-fitting lug nuts? Neither of those scenarios make sense because the tires have been rotated about every 5k miles or so both at Discount Tire and the Infiniti Dealership since the last tire change. How is it possible for none of this to have ever been discovered except for this Monday? Answer: it’s not. My family will never be back to this store...not that they will care.

So i took my car in to get a blown tire fixed on a saturday and they tell me that i need to get the two front tires replaced. I agree to get them fixed but the problem was that the tires would not arrive until tuesday morning. I had to leave my car there since there was no way to take it home. They said theyd "take care of it" for me and theyd give me a call when it was ready to go. I trusted them... well let me rephrase that because not everyone was a part of it. I trusted a short hispanic with short hair that works inside (Im hispanic too I am not stereotyping). Tuesday came along and no call Tuesday no call wednesday no call thursday. Until i had to go personally to go check and i found out it had been ready. So the short guy then says "Yeah i took it out for a ride and took it to dallas and said to myself i like this" he noticed i was not happy and quickly said he was joking. So I pay get in my car and notice that there are 2 warning signs in my car and 100-200 miles more AND it smells like smoke.... hmmm Then i thought about when i arrived they updated the miles of my car, joked to see if i was okay with it, two warning signs that were not there before, and the smell, OHH i almost forgot and the temp needle was high. Also my car is a sports car, why wouldnt someone want to take it out for a spin with out my permission and not call and tell me that it is ready. This was my go to place but after that i can not count them as "trustworthy". If you go there be carful especially if you have a sports car. Watch out cause I know he drove my car hard. who wouldnt especially if it isnt theirs.

Went last week to get tires rotated. Waited almost 2 hours. When we took the truck in we knew that the front passenger tire was low. After coming home from the 2 hour tire rotation we noticed the same tire was still low. We then took the truck up to an auto shop intown to have them check the tires. The truck should have 80psi in the back and 60psi in the front. The drivers front tire was at 80psi and the back was 56psi. On the passanger side the front tire was 26psi and the rear was 75psi. With that being said its obvious they only rotated the tires on the driver side and balanced nothing. We called Discount to make the manager aware of their mistake and the manager seemed like he could have cared less. If you use the prosper location make sure you check your tires when they are done. Dont take their word that they have done what they were supposed to. I can only imagine who all this has happened to. If it wasnt for the low tire we already had we wouldnt have noticed. This is not the first problem we have had with this location. It is the worst problem we have had and the last. We will be using the crossroads location from now on it is about 30 min further for us but worth it. We have never had a problem with that location big or small.

I want to like this location, but they keep giving reasons to dislike them. MESSAGE TO CORPORATE: This store is in an awesome location based on the steady stream of customers, but this location is failing in customer service and communication. My recommendation is to tighten up the management control at this store, and lets improve communication. Speak clearly. I sat and listened while a customer tried his best to explain to an employee why he wasnt making sense to him. Frankly, the customer was correct, and he left angry. The employees tend to give the shortest response possible, and in some cases are inaccurate as a result. It seems like this store is dazed, lazy, rushed, overworked, or just dont care. I still visit this location, but Im very cautious and ask a lot of questions to ensure I understand the situation. Good luck.

I have been a Discount Tire customer for a long time and always like the company. This time i picked this center as it was closer to my house. In Short - Horrible service. 1. Did not inform me of any current offers. When i inquired, they informed me that there is a $60 Mail-In Rebate. 2. They billed me, when i checked whether there was some warranty refund. They then went checked the tires and the mileage to give me an $80 warranty refund. I have would have lost that amount, if i had not checked. 3. They forgot to print me the Mail-in-Rebate form, and i have to go there physically to get that form printed out. Overall bad experience. I would advise to stay away from this center.

Service is lacking. I used to always go to this location because of their service. I always booked an appointment to have my tires rotated, etc. I started to see a delay in getting in on time. The wait time increased so much that it was delaying me an hour. Whats the need for an appointment if they cant get you in? Ive moved my service needs to another location where they ALWAYS get me in and out quickly and if I arrive early for the appointment, they get me in and out before my appointment time! I really liked the guys at this location but my time is just as valuable as theirs.

I talked to Michael on the phone and asked how much they would charge to take off the old set of rims/tires and put on a new set (already mounted) I was expecting to pay $40-$50 and the quote he gave me was FREE!!! yep thats right FREE!!! I live really close to this location so I limped my car (had a flat) in and they took great care of me. They have earned me and my families business in the future.....great customer service always open the door for you lots of yes sir and yes mam, love to see buisnesses ran like this with good old fashion customer service.
