Ive been a customer of Badcock for years and although Ive had good and bad experiences I know its hard to please everyone, but recently Ive purchased a King size Bed and had it for 2 years and the mattress developed collapsed springs causing the bed to have sinking areas making the bed very uncomfortable and serious back pain. I was advised that Badcock will not refund, repair, exchange the mattress do to a small stain...and I mean (small). My first dealings with Badcock was good, but after the refrigerator Im leasing to own needed ice maker repairs 1 day after delivery had me thinking (MAYBE NOT SO GOOD). After the refrigerator icemaker was repaired Im now having small amounts of standing water on the bottom inside of the refrigerator and the ice maker isnt working properly again. I was told that Badcock will not replace the refrigerator instead they will repair it as long as it is under warranty...what happens when the warranty expires and Im stuck with a broke refrigerator!!!(OH I KNOW...PURCHASE A BADCOCK EXTENDED WARRANTY). If I brought a refrigerator from Whirlpool, GE etc. and it was delivered to me damaged and havent had the item shortly over 30 days I would expect the company to replace it not repair it over and over again...its obvious BADCOCK sold me a defective refrigerator!!!

I purchased 3,000.00 worth of furniture 2 years ago, and the sofa and recliner have tore up already. the recliner tore up with a few months, and they replaced it, and less than a year I did the same thing, obviously it was a defect, but i called left several messages for the manager, but never received a call, when I did finally get one, it was not the same manager that helped me when his employee was there when I picked out my furniture, my warranty was up, I had dates and times that i called but it didnt matter, I asked for the home office nad I was told that they could not give out that information, but they would have someone to call but never did. The qaulity is hoffible, the customer service is bad, and the employess dont know anything about the furniture, as to what comes in the set, bad attitudes, including the floor manager i spoke with. my sofa is sunk in, when uou sit down, you can fill the springs, and the arm broke on the recliner. I suggest you buy your furniture someone else

my house burnt down in 2014, and i ordered furniture from babcock. I told them on many occasions deliver the furniture wrapped to a specific storage unit. Gave the manager the address and 2 other workers just to make sure they do not bring it to my new house that was not even half way done being built. Was supposed to get a call at 8am and 30 mins before they were to deliver the furniture. Never recieved a call and a truck shows up in my driveway with everything prepped to be put in a HOUSE, my 1200 dollar couch was missing pieces and torn, my coffee table fell apart when the DELIVERY MAN ran into it. The plaque on the chairs were chipping and they told us there was nothing they can do. Worst experience ever. Spoke to the district manager as well, no one knows what they are doing at any babcock location.

My daughter and myself both have accounts at the Charlotte, NC store, and were very happy . Because of OUR store, I recommended they go to Badcock in Greensboro. Unfortunately their experience at the Greensboro store really embarrassed me. Their account is under Angela Burns. There were mistakes made when the order was written up. Now NOTHING is being delivered tomorrow as promised to their new house. The furnitue they wanted is not here, and the wrong furniture isnt even ready for delivery. This store has let me down as recommending this store, IM NOT. The sofa and love seat ARE in the store on display, but now the store wants more money. THEIR GOOF - can they be offered the display? If I could give them zero stars I would. Please do not go to badcock if you have a fraud alert on your account! They will not know how to handle it and then waste your time for a hour after giving them numerous IDs. Jamal and his manager are both clueless. I waited for a hour just for him to say he needed more forms of ID!! This is ridiculous!! If you work in the financing business you should know all about fraud alerts and how to handle them. All the while the other representatives just stare at you like youre going to steal something!! Its a furniture store, do you think im going to put the sectional in my purse?! Please dont waste your time, this group of "professionals " dont have a clue.

This store was sold in July 2012, what a difference from my prior experience. The new staff is so friendly and the service was great. There are all new faces in the store and its obvious they are working hard to overcome what the store used to be in the past. Give them a chance, they will make it right. They did for me and I couldnt be more pleased. I saw someone said they were leasing furniture from this store, they dont lease furniture and never have according to the corporate office. Maybe that person go the store confused with another store.They do offer their own financing which was awesome for me since my credit is not even close to perfect.

Jamal and Charlie did a great job assisting me find the best furniture. I took my time and came in few times before I made the decision. They also helped me make changes to the furniture before it was delivered. I spent over 5k for furniture and I thank Jamal and Charlie for making it happen. They are friendly and helpful! Will definitely return to make more purchases.

Just a warning. Their return policy doesnt apply to discontinued items. The guy who also handles your furniture is also sloppy - damages your furniture. But otherwise the atmosphere is professional and prices are fair, if not downright good.
