Could not have had a worse experience. Mitchell Volvo is nothing but used car salesmen. Everything I had been told during a test drive disappeared when it came time to take delivery of the vechicle. The sales associate Todd additionally lied about the service records of the car and claimed that Mitchell Volvo sold the car, preformed all the services and took it in on trade. None of witch where true according to the car fax of the vechicle. There was no customer focus and multiple broken promises. When confronted all he could say is "we would loose too much money" or "we dont do that take it or leave it". Over all the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. When I didnt take delivery of the vechicle it came time for them to return the REFUNDABLE deposit and was told by the manager we dont issue cash or cut checks youll have to get the deposit from our Simsbury location, itll take a day and youll get a call when the check is ready. Two days later no call and the sales manager couldnt even return my voicemail. Each time I called the store asking for the manager I was sent to his voicemail and the calls where never returned. I had to call the Simsbury location in order to get my check issued. Mitchell Volvo shows no appreciation for repeat customers as I have bought cars from them in the past and is not trustworthy in anyway. They do nothing in terms of outreach to address customer service issues. I will never return. I urge anyone considering buying a car from Mitchell to go to ANY other delarship, you will be much better off.

I always have a great experience at Litchfield Volvo. They all are very kind patient and professional .If I have any issues they are always corrected very quickly.I live almost one hour from the Dealer, but I continue to come because of how they handle their clients. They may be a smaller operation, but they continue to offer the clients that of what you might think that you would only get at a much larger operation.I love all my conversations with Jeff and he is very patient as I can be very long winded.I value what I would call a more intimate experience at this dealer and wish for their longterm success!!! Our son is extremely happy with Jeff and his coworkers at the Mitchells. This is his second Volvo, going from a mid-90s sedan to a newer wagon as his sports gear takes up more room. Both cars were solid, safe, and thanks to the service people, very mechanically sound. Weve been VW drivers ourselves to this point, but already have our eye on the smaller XC 60 SUV as our next vehicle, and will definitely give Jeff a call when that time comes.

Have bought over 20 cars in my life and never had a better experience. I live an hour away when I called to see if they still had the car I was looking at Bill put a sold sign it till I could get out to check it out 2 days latter. Fair price & trade value, fixed a few problems before pickup a week latter with no deposit just a handshake. Check Mitchell in the Litchfield Hills for a wonderful buying experience!

Brandon did an exemplary job. We told him what we wanted, and the price we wanted to pay. Brandon made that happen. He never tried to up sell us and we were comfortable during the entire process. I can say it was worth the 45 min drive from Fairfield, CT. We would have paid thousands more for the same car at the more pretentious dealers in our area. -Ed
