Be aware that any transaction requires your drivers license information typed into their computer system. Employee stated to that they keep a costumer database for promotions. They will not let you purchase anything without your drivers license number. NOTE - Your drivers license number is very important. If you give them your drivers license number along with your credit/debit card information, it could be hacked and used to open fraudulent accounts and Monster Textbooks would not even know when it happens. Just like when Target and Home depot computers were compromised in the past. This happened to me and if you value your credit score with all 3 credit bureaus you will do business elsewhere.

I was pretty surprised at how empty the store was! The back room is full of text books of course, but the front lobby would be really great to shop for pens,highlighters,post its etc. They also sell scantrons, I wish I noticed some blue books or green books as well! The staff was really friendly and selling back my book was painless! I plan to purchase my text books from them in January as well. They rarely answer their phone, so just stop by for any questions. Its literally across the street from the colleges entrance. I got back 20 bucks for my HUMD book, not bad at all!

When told I purchased the book the employee rented it to me instead. He did not tell me nor did he put a sticker to signify it. As a result I was hit with a large late charge which resulted with my bank account being thrown into the negative. The manager was rude over the phone and refused to acknowledge the possibility of his employees mistake until I proved it to him. Manager stated "just bring me my book and Ill give you your money", but he didnt. He then stated itll take UP TO 24 hours, it didnt happen. So thank you Monster Textbooks I appreciate all of this.

When getting the books I had no issues. Now returning on two different occasions I had girls with major attitudes. My books had no problems nor do I ever give attitude. They dont even greet you or smile. You want business then treat customers better. I would rather pay full price than give my business to people with attitudes!

Better make sure they record every little spec of damage when you first get your books from them. I was just charged for water damage on a book that literally never left my backpack the entire semester. Extremely inexperienced & unprofessional employees.
