This is my second and maybe my last time buying from this pawn shop.. The first time I came I purchased a nice firearm that I absolutely love! Its my favorite! The price was a bit higher than normal, especially considering it didnt come with a case or anything, but its alright. The customer service was decent, the guy helped show me how to work the firearm, and the lady was very nice and helpful. My 2nd time though the energy was really different from the first time. There were different guys working the counter this time. There were about 5 guys behind the gun counter, and about 4 customers talking to the employees loudly making racist jokes about Middle Eastern people which made me uncomfortable. As I was browsing guns, and looking on my phone at reviews for particular firearms I noticed I was being watched and followed around the store. I didnt appreciate this as I am a previous customer and drove past 4 different gun stores just to purchase from these guys again. Out of discomfort I just bought something very hastily as they were probably about to close soon, plus Im being looked at as if I cant buy every gun in this store twice. As Im filling out paperwork they are loudly making emphasis on the "convicted felon" questions....Really?...... The guy that sold me the gun was very "cold" and distant, almost like he didnt want to sell me the firearm...But the good thing is, the same lady from last time was there and was very nice to me, which made me feel better. But other than that I felt very unwanted. The energy "felt" racist. Sorry I have to say it. Im giving it 4 stars because Im happy with my purchase, but the customer service is lacking, they arent very friendly at this place and give off that racist vibe. The 2nd Amendment applies to Black People as well.... get over it.

The staff seems friendly at first, so I asked them to rebuild one of my weapons. The price Ray quoted was a little high, but I had heard good things about their gunsmith (Ray), so I figured it was worth it. He said it would take 4 weeks, which also seemed a little high, but he said they were a little back-logged. 14 weeks later I am still waiting for my weapon to be finished! I call weekly and every week they say "Well be done for sure this weekend" and every week they have another excuse. Now I get passed off to the gunsmiths assistants for excuses. The assistants (Eric & Chad) are very nice and very apologetic, but the bottom line is the service, accountability, communication and general experience have been terrible!! UPDATE: 4/12/14, I am raising my rating because I have finally received my completed weapon and the work is very good. Ray is very knowledgeable and did a fine job, with a difficult re-build. I would consider using them again, but only on a project that I wasnt concerned about time frame.

Hadnt been in Mosss pawn in over two year! Went in today looking for Original Xbox games because i sell them on line. Wasnt in there 2 minutes, when a large White lady said very loudly i want him outta here! I was shocked! Of course the only thing i could think was Im black and she didnt want me in there because of that, and she just had this smarty look on her face, like she was saying- Darkie get out of my store! Here we are In 2017, and its sad that people bring that mess to work! They Cant be around you two minutes and your spending money. And i did buy something and i wasnt in there ten minutes! Dont want to call any Company racists because i dont know the entire business, but that FAT WHITE LADY surely wasnt happy to see me!

Their Gunsmith worked on my friends AR, which they are supposed to be experts on. Yes, I was at Moss Pawn for this entire experience. They broke his brand new barrel, that they sold him and installed the day prior. They also broke his upper and forward assist. They told us it was a 15 minute job. We were there for over an hour and forty five minutes. No one ever came to tell us anything while we were waiting. When we finally asked, we were told he was almost done. They never mentioned any problems or anything. They were supposed to be ordering him a replacement forward assist to match the one he had but they have yet to live up to that promise. DO NOT TAKE YOUR GUN THERE TO BE WORKED ON!!!

I took a Ruger .22 caliber rifle in to have a missing screw replaced in the stock. You charged me $25 for 10 minutes of work. $15 for the screw and $10 labor. When I complained about the cost of such a minor repair, the salesperson reduced the price $5. $20 is still outrageous and I will tell all my friends to avoid your business! The screw you replaced should have been an Allen Set screw and you forced some kind of threaded screw into the slot. Terrible repair! All I needed was the Allen Set screw! Followup: I contacted Ruger about the missing screw. They sent me two stainless screws absolutely FREE of charge. NEVER go into MOSS PAWN SHOP!!!

This is the worst pawn shop ever. DO NOT buy anything from this place. They are a bunch of rip offs. I purchased a clarinet from them and it wouldnt play. I took it to the repair shop and was told that the clarinet has infested with dust mite (BUGS) and thats why it wouldnt play. First, the manger told me on the phone that I could get my full refund, but when I got there it was a different story. The rep that sold me the instrument lied about the price plus I had my receipt. The manager would not give me back what I paid for the instrument and yes I am PISSED. Your company needs to check stuff out before you try to sell it!!!

I was looking over the site for a couple new defense weapons. I came across two Saiga 12-guage shotguns. The price they were labeled was fine with me so I tried to check out. The website would not work, and when I called the store I was informed the price was completely different from what was advertised. The gentleman on the phone said it was my fault for not realizing what the price should be. I have disposable income and like dealing with straightforward people. If you fall in that boat I suggest you take your business to any other of the thousands of firearms dealers in the area.

Took a rifle there to get fixed. Left it with their gunsmith for 5 weeks. Got it back, was made to feel ridiculous for wanting to check their work before leaving, and like a moron I left without doing so. Got home and rifle had the same issue it had when I brought it to them. $50 later. I hope Mr. Moss enjoys that $50 because it is the last money he will get from me or anyone who listens to my account of the experience listed above. After the world lost Barry that place went to crap.
