Here are the reasons I shop here: - I live nearby - They used to give you discounts if you had a loyalty card. I think this has been discontinued... ...Thats all I can think of. Reasons I dread when I am out of dog food: - The staff here must have some crazy quotas or some sort of sales requirements because they will NOT leave you alone. It starts out polite..."Hello. Welcome. How are you? Whats your little guys name? (this will happen even if you dont come in with a pet. or a baby.) Try these treats! Heres a sample. What are you looking for? I WILL FOLLOW YOU FOREVER EVEN IF YOU SAY YOU DONT WANT HELP." Seriously, I had a guy follow me through 3 isles as I gave him almost non answers to any question he asked me, he made sure he grabbed the leash I was looking at to hand it to me and then zipped over when I was checking out to scan his card. That same visit, 5 different employees attempted to assist me. Not only are they obnoxiously present, theres way too many there all the time. If the over-assistance is to increase sales, cut the sales staff in half and youll have no more need to push those sales. Problem solved. - Dog food snobbery. An employee literally made barf sounds when I told him what I was feeding my dog. Then pushed all their high brow dog food at me. 1. Dont act like Im ignorant/neglectful/abusive/whatever for feeding my dog food that is made for dogs. Of course I care about my dogs health, but let us not forget dogs naturally scavenge. My childhood dog ate a plate covered in grease, and she was fine. Dogs will survive without us balancing their meals...so dont tell me about how I need to put canned pumpkin on my dogs raw venison. After this reflection, I might stop going here. I think Petco carries the same food I use anyway.

So I recently adopted a greyhound with a few different food sensitivities, and I went into the store because I knew for a fact theyd have some kind of single ingredient or at least limited ingredient foods. I walked in about a week before taking my dog home, talked to Nate, who definitely knew his stuff, was super helpful, and gave me a ton of suggestions for food options for my grey. Unfortunately, I made a small mistake when grabbing a food because I forgot that diary was a no go, so I had to return it, but they took it back no problem. When you come here, the employees definitely take the utmost care in ensuring youre getting the right food for your dog, cat, or whatever. They show a genuine interest in your animals. You will pay a bit more here than say, Petco or PetSmart, but when you consider the benefits to your animals, it is most certainly worth the extra cost, especially because they have such a generous return policy. They have small sample treats that you can give your dog (maybe even your cat, I didnt check) and they have a monthly vet visit and give out low cost treatment options. They have nearly everything you could ever need for your pet. Dont hesitate to ask for help!

5 star service Id give it a perfect 10 if I could. As soon as I walked in with my 2 dogs I was greeted with smiles and great customer service . Justice and Diana were absolutely incredible they were so knowledgeable about everything. Me being a new dog owner of two pitbull Im learning as I go and they were so helpful with my pups sabrina came and gave my treats they gave me helpful tips and answered every question i had honestly. Ive been to other pet stores but none like this. Im so appreciative for their help and support and all the love and affection they gave my babies. Their customer service was sincere never fake or forced. Loved this place.

We adopted two funky and spunky middle aged kitties a few months ago. A neighbor recommended we give Centinella a try. Fantabulous local pet store. Though I think its actually part of a small chain (?). Either way, its always a pleasure to shop here. Besides the variety (mostly cat & dog stuff) they have EXCELLENT service by well informed staff. There are also classes, vet events, and (though I havent seen one yet) adoption days. Definitely recommend this place. Especially if youre local. They also have plenty of coupons and rotating deals.

This place has everything I look for in holistic dog food. The atmosphere could be better by standardizing greetings at the door. Nate has always been a great help in selecting the best food for my two dogs. His knowledge and general happy demeanor is what keeps me coming back. The management here should take note and advise his people to mirror his actions.
