First sale was pretty good. Good selection, easy to deal with the guys on the floor. Newbies ask questions and need guidance....they are willing to help. This is whats important in customer service. Service parts are also available and ready to purchase (prices are usually fixed and the same at any one of these places). What I do not like is that once there is a decent amount of business here....you will always be waiting (parts, people, service, questions...etc), you will not get treated like royalty (like a car dealership does), and instead they expect you to serve them with a general take it or leave it attitude. Because once you are just a person....more will follow in your place. If you dont like the service they think someone else will buy it, or someone else will replace this bad apple; well eventually you run out of replacements. People talk and I have heard service/person-person contact and general down to earth attention (new sales, and everything in between) needs work. Many people are willing to drive to Erie, or Buffalo to get that extra service.....and 1 time is all it takes to remember.

Honestly Hectors is usually my place to go with any of my motorcycle needs. So when I recently needed the new tires I purchased online swapped with the old tires, I called to double check how much it was to swap and balance just the tires by themselves I took them off the bike already, and they said it would be about $75. For that much I could seriously pay $5 more and go get the balancer and tire removal hardware from the store. I really like the group of people down there but thats way too much for something that would take less than 20 min to do. I just took them to Express Bike and Auto for $25 per tire, way cheaper price for the same service. Also I got the same tires as my dad did at Hectors; same brand and size. And I got them $60 cheaper online. My dad ordered through Hectors and they swapped the tires with the tires off the bike and for everything it cost him over $300. It cost me a little over $200 to just go to Express.

Been there a couple of times. 1st time I went there for a throttle cable for my dirtbike. They told me that my cable did not exist, stock or even aftermarket... Lol what kind of dealer says that?!?.. A quick eBay search proved them wrong. Second time I went there for oil for my bike. I told them my make/model & they gave me what they said was "the right oil" well it wasnt and it messed up the clutch plates. 3rd time I went there for a sprocket. I said that I needed a 12 tooth sprocket. After arguing with the lady, she decided that I wanted a 14 tooth sprocket & ordered it anyway. Well it wasnt even for the right bike. So I returned it and they said that the right sprocket would be in in a day or 2. After 2 weeks it still was not in & I demanded my money back. Thats 3 times in a row that I have not been impressed. I would not recommend them to anybody

I had never owned a motorcycle before and unfortunately, I bought one off Craigslist and I got a bike that definitely needed work. I had heard great things about Hectors so I decided to give them a try. Thank God I did!! Everyone I encountered were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!! But I want to really thank both Laurie in parts and Casey in service!! You both made this experience stress free and enjoyable. Not only will I only bring my bike here for service but Im going to spread the word and when I buy my next bike itll definitely be at Hectors. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!

Terrible shop. They dont EVEN HAVE BUSHINGS IN STOCK. Thats like haveing kool aid and no sugar. Toilet no paper. Thats like going to Mc Donalds and asking for fries and a burger and they have neither one. wth kind of a buisnee is that. Red Flag people. Hownuts

Funny Ive always been able to get what I wanted there. Normally pretty quick unless Im ordering something odd. Prices on new bikes have always been competitive and they usually have more atvs in stock thant most places. Over all Ive had good luck there.

Ive always been treated fairly and honestly at Hectors . I liked it so much Ive purchased 2 bikes from here its the small town feel everyone knows who I am when I walk in its like visiting a good friend kind of feel and I love that the most .
