We took my Kymco Scooter so they could make it go faster. When my husband first contacted them they told us their distributor couldnt get the part in that was needed to do the work, but if we were willing to get the part they would do the labor. My husband found the part they suggested and double checked to make sure it was the correct part. Once this was confirmed we ordered the part and set up an appointment to have the work done. We emailed several times before hearing back about the appointment time. Once the scooter was finished we picked it up only to find that it didnt go any faster than when we dropped it off. We contacted Mircobore to tell them about our dissatisfaction and they said they spend 3 hours doing work on the scooter, there was nothing further they would do. In the end, we discovered that there was a miscommunication between what we thought we had asked them to do and what they thought we had asked them to do. They offered no reconciliation regarding this, but told us that we didnt use specific wording to describe what we wanted done. We spent $200.00 for their labor alone, to have the scooter work no different than it did before. I work hard for my money and dont appreciate throwing it away. I tried going to Microbore and talking to them, in which they offered to do more work with no cost. In this case, we would need to spend more money buying parts. The person I spoke with told me that after buying more parts and them putting in more labor, they couldnt guarantee the scooter would go any faster in the end. Who wants to spend even more money on something when they have no trust in the people doing it AND they cant guarantee the outcome in your favor?? I told the person that I would speak to my husband about this and see what he wanted to do. After speaking to my husband and deciding not to have more work done by them, I emailed them to see if there was something else that could be done and never got a response. This company is just like any other mechanic that you would take your car/bike/etc. to and need to know the specifics of every detail of the job before you asked them to do it. If I knew every detail to describe to them exactly what I wanted them to do, I would have just done it myself because I would have known enough about the process at that point to do the work. I want to take my vehicles to someone who is going to treat me right as a customer, be fair, honest. This is not the place for me.

Best motorcycle shop in the Syracuse area. Great place for honest repairs, Q&A, gear, and purchasing used bikes in Great condition at fair prices. I personally bought a 2005 GS500F in great condition (less than 9,000Miles)with brand new brakes, tires, and oil change at a solid price (Paid KBB value) They carry both cruisers and sport as well as Mopeds. Although they can be a bit pricey on certain bike parts, this place actually honors their 30 day warranty and doesnt hassle you about any "hidden fees" They also provide discounts to first time riders who are taking / have completed the NY Riders Safety Course.

Brought my bike there to have the carbs jetted fluids changed and inspection done. They called and let me know the front wheel bearings were going so they replaced them too.Excellent work very fair prices best employees. Will definitely be bringing my bike back there when I need something. Also bought a helmet and other supplies while I was there. Everything is priced fair. GREAT JOB.

I recommend MicroBore to every rider I can, whether its for service, parts, gear or a bike for a new rider. John, Wendy & the crew at MicrBore idealize what "your local shop" should be. They treat you right. I honestly feel like theyre more concerned with making their customers happy than just taking their money - unlike most other shops.

15 years I wont go anywhere else. John and Wendy treat you like family, never too busy to answer my stupid questions . When I had my first POS bike I was having problems after I picked it up (not their fault) and John, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS CLOSED (I dont think he ever really "closes") took a tool and helped me out.

Very friendly - Great service/fair prices. I was coming through town on a cross country tour, needed a tire mounted. Got me in & out. (Stopped at the local Harley dealer first and was told they only mount tires on Harleys, got the famous Harley Tude). Glad I found Micro Bore, will use them again. MD

Service and maintenance are great. Although, wont go back for parts. Overcharged me on basic maintenance parts. 140 for stock Cam chain tensioner. Ordered clutch kit at aftermarket price and received steel plates and fibers of very low quality.
