I used to get aquarium salt from Petsmart, but after my most recent visit, I will never support Petsmart again. I have been to numerous stores in several states only to find the same thing- staff members who are uneducated in the ANIMALS that they sell and the care that is needed for them. I found hermit crabs living in tanks that they couldnt even breathe in (they need a warm humid environment, and there was a half working heat lamp), in shells were so small that they couldnt fit in, water dishes that were empty, the food in the dishes looked like it had started to mold and in conditions that caused them to be so stressed their legs were falling off. I realize that the majority of people dont put fish, crabs, lizards and other smaller animals on the same level as cats and dogs, but the conditions I witnessed (in multiple stores) can only be described by one word- INHUMANE! While I was on your website looking to write a review, I noticed your Vet Assured Promise, which infuriates me even more. "PetSmart makes a significant investment in the care of our pets and it is apparent in the quality and comfort of the pets in our stores. " Whatever significant investment you think is being made in your stores is not occurring, perhaps you could invest some extra time and money into properly training your staff.

The only reason I gave this place more than one star is because saving southern kitties is based here. SSK is an amazing cat rescue that does a lot of work around Charlotte and I adore them. But this petsmart is terrible. I wish SSK didnt have to be there because the management treats them awful. Plus they never ever ever ever help me. And they are all so uneducated. I told one of the employees off handed that I needed cat shampoo because my cat had a tendency to go into the fireplace and get covered in soot and she told me not to bathe my cat because she could lick herself clean. Im not going to let my cat lick soot and ashes off of her fur. Moron.

I love this store, everyone is always trying to help you better the quality of your pets foods and make sure their happy, healthy and most importantly satisfied. I just love Banfield they are always doing the best they can for your pets, and while your their you should stop on in and book your pet a grooming appointment,. Since the holidays are right around the corner nows the best time to schedual your pets appointment so they can smell great for when you have company over. Thanks PetSmart for being so amazing.

I go to this location quite often for cat food, dog toys, dog grooming and veterinarian annual. This location does get busy and I have had to wait at the counter for veterinarian office but never has anyone been rude to me. I find the store clean and there are always lots of deals going on at PetSmart. If you use your basic edict and communication skills I guarantee that this store will help you find, get, or point you in the right direction to what you need, want or information for your pet. I would recommend.

horrible service !!! I left my dog with specific instructions for grooming. They didnt care and proceed without my permission. It took 6 hours to pick him up. Theres when I reaized the dog had some cuts on his skin and seemed terrorized. When I spoke to the manager she said couldnt help it and those cuts can be fixed with some neosporin..if you love your pet stay clear of this pleace !!

This is the worst location ever. My brother and I got followed through the store. Manager named Jenny was rude and another supervisor named Ashley was stupid as hell. The worst customer service every. Ashley didnt know who the store manager was or what kind of manager Jenny was. She damn sure dont need to be a supervisor. Never shall I step foot in this damn store again!

Brought my goldendoodle puppy here for a trim. First time going to PetSmart for grooming and I will never go back. Worst grooming on a puppy i have ever seen. I would rather pay more at a professional grooming place that actually knows what they are doing. All they did was shave around his eyes, Im beyond disappointed on how terrible they treated my dogs coat.

I generally can find what I need and they are conveniently located. I give it a one star for the grooming area employee with the name tag SAM. She has a rude dismissive attitude and needs to be fired. More than once Ive received her poor customer service. How is she still working here????

I have found customer service here to be excellent. Everyone is friendly and tries their best to help me as much as possible. I also use the grooming service, and though a cut not always perfect, they are friendly and courteous and that goes a long way to me.

Grooming services were good but the checkout line was slow and disorganized. Took about 10 minutes to pay for the grooming in a very slow long line of customers. Manager there didnt seem to know what he was doing or care about it.

Not a single person available to help customers during our 20 minute visit. I would have given 1 star, but thieves might appreciate their lack of service. We went to the Rock Hill location instead and made our purchases.

I have been here lots of times to take my dog to get groomed service was fast and have never had any problems. Good prices and great choices. Dont believe the other bad reviews, I think they had a bug up there butt.

The customer service here wasnt awful, it was nonexistent. If you want to go to a well run store where you wont be completely ignored, I would suggest the location on South Blvd by 485, very helpful staff.

I have never had a problem they teach us a lot about hamsters for little man thanks so much petsmart. Another thing one person lied I never seen a dead fish in a fish tank they were all living. :)

Basically a free petting zoo for toddlers! Loved seeing the fish and birds. Also a thriving pet adoption center making sure animals get a loving home. Also, dog training and grooming.
