I absolutely love vet co and grooming department. But that is the only thing I love about Pet Co. The employee Shawna in the salon is the only reason we go their. Today my daughter and I went to return a cage all wrapped up etc. The receipt we got was a hand written one because employee grabbed a different one in a different box and didnt change the sku. we had just purchased it yesterday. The employee remembered us and was going to take it back but manager who was so rude and so dirty looking will be why i will never recommend pet co. The manager looked like she was high on meth, dressed like she wants to be a boy, and had ugly dirty looking tattoos everywhere. Her dirty appearance, and eyes so wide like she just got done smoking meth. Whoever owns that location fire her.

I had a problem with some fish that i had bought and to my surprise the manager of the store called me and spoke to me about the issue. He was very nice and offered to replace the fish and also offer so much more help than i could have ever asked for. I am very impressed with this stores customer service. They do care about their customers and the animals. I also appreciate that i was told the measures that were being taken to make sure this never happened again. I recommend this store highly i have been to the other pet place nearby and have never felt as if anyone cared. They have earned a forever customer. Thank you petco of queen creek.

DO NOT GET YOUR PET GROOMED AT PETCO! We took our 4 year old Yorkie there to be groomed yesterday and they COMPLETELY SHAVED HER BY MISTAKE! The vet says it will take anywhere from 1-2 YEARS for her hair to grow back to the length it was. And the "excuse" we got was that the groomer read the ticket wrong! AND they tried to charge us for ruining our dogs hair!!! In fact...they tried to get us to pay for the grooming BEFORE they let us see our dog. They did offer the next day to give us 1 free grooming...which is not enough to make up for the year or longer that we will have to wait for our dog to look human again. VERY UNHAPPY...

I have a reptile and petco is the closest store that sells crickets, I always get a dozen large and have been skimped on that deal a couple times by getting tiny nymph crickets so Ive had to explain to some staff that those were in facts NOT large crickets and have since been receiving large crickets. Aside from that its a great store and the staff is actually competent if you speak to them like you dont have stick shoved up your ass. I now have a puppy and plan to continue business with this store.

Do not go here for grooming. They do not have basic knowledge of how to handle dogs. In addition, they are rude! I called to make an appointment to have my dogs nails trimmed/grinded, the woman who answered the phone very abruptly stated before I could finish talking "they better have their rabies up to date"! I had already confirmed she had been there before and knew that was a prerequisite.

My daughter and grandchildren went to this Petco on Ocotillo and Rittenhouse. They thought it was open until 10. Instead of saying to them the person closing yelled across the room they had 2 minutes. Really? She needs to be trained in customer service. WALK to the customer and say we would love to help but are closing. Can you come back tomorrow? Usually great service here ..

This location has a Vetco every Wednesday from 2:30-5pm where you can get your cat/dog vaccinated at a low cost. The staff all around is very outgoing and clearly loves our four-legged friends. Prices on animal foods and accessories seem to be competitive to other buying option locations.

Got the run around by an associate who said theyd price check for me. She ended up around the corner in another aisle joking around with obvious friends who were not buying . Great store well organized . Pricing needs to be checked on shelves

I use to love getting fish from here but every time I visit the place now there are floating, sinking or stuck to filter fish in more than 60% of the tanks. The staff however are great people. Ive never encounter any rude employees.

Love this store! Its always clean and the associates are very helpful and knowledgeable. The dog trainers always take time to answer my questions and we really like that they have puppy playtime.

Take my family dog here for 6 days of basic training. Always fun to come here with my kids to see the many cute animals they have in here. Ferret, hamster and etc.

Good stuff. The only negative is that the company sees fit to change the stores layout several times a year which makes it tough to get in and out fast.

Never had a problem with the groomers. Take my dog every month or 2 to get his nails trimmed. They always seem happy to take care of him.
