Seemed like such a nice little shop. Not at all! 2 floors of overpriced biscuits and dog art. Dont waste your time. Walked in to find 3 newfoundland retrievers laying in the middle of the floor. I am in love with the breed. I immediately told the woman behind the counter how incredible they were. She was as rude a shop owner as Ive met. After 2 questions about the dogs she exclaimed that she "was going to start charging me to answer" my questions. Unbelievable, we left immediately. How can you own a pet "boutique" and 500 pounds of dog and be such an old shrew to your complimentary/animal loving clientele?

Doug and Valarie are such GREAT people. Not only are they knowledgeable but are passionate. I have a little Frenchie that often hangs out at the store. He had such terrible allergies but with the help of these great people he looks amazing! They have a raw dog food that they created and Norm LOVES it and it has helped his allergies. They do not believe in all the chemicals and medications that vets tend to offer. With their help I was able to help Norm without steroids!

Unfortunate that Mr. Marra had such an unpleasant experience. My experience with LYP has been quite the opposite. They are passionate about animals, passionate about what they do, and passionate about Newfies! I have not experienced any level of rudeness in my interactions with them, and feel that their pricing is appropriate for the high level of products they offer.
