I have a Westie and was incredibly happy with the groom my dog received at PetSmart. All the groomers seemed like they really enjoyed their jobs and were good-natured, even the one who had a Pomeranian that was trying to bite her hand off. As a former groomer (years ago), I have to mention to the other reviewers that if you disliked the results, there is probably a reason: if the nails werent clipped short enough, youre probably one of the idiots who never clips their dogs nails, so the quicks are super long. If the dog is still wet, your dog was probably really afraid of the blow dryers and you wanted him back NOW NOW NOW so he didnt have an appropriate amount of time to kennel dry. Other reviewers might have had a bad experience here, but you have to remember that groomers are all individual, even with big chain stores. If you have a bad haircut in a JCPenney salon, you cant condemn all JCPenney salons - just that one individual person who cut your hair. When the person asks if youre happy with your dog, dont just say "yeah sure" and get mad when you go home and really take a good look and decide otherwise - if you say whats wrong in the store, they will gladly fix it for you. Heck, if something really bothered you that you honestly didnt notice until you got home, most good groomers would fix it free of charge if you brought it back in later (same day or next day) and explained the problem. Groomers want happy customers, because happy customers keep coming back. Just make your issues known to the person who can help you.

I wish there was something less than one star. We went in to grab some medicine for our poor dog waiting for us at home. We walked in and absolutly no employees in sight to help us find what we were looking for. Once we hunted down what we needed we headed to the check out. We got up there and there was no one at the check stands! We decided wed wait to see if maybe they went off for a second. Well we waited, and waited but no one showed. Three employees walked right by us and saw us waiting for 20 minutes! Not a single one said a word to us!! I was absolutely infuriated! I have a sick dog home alone waiting for me and we couldnt even get her very expensive medicine! After 20 minutes we just walked out and headed to petco. We have never had a good experience at Petsmart but it was close to home. I will never step foot in there ever again and Ill be sure to let as many people as I can know about the horrible Customer service.

Experts say feed your dog the same food, if changing do it gradually. I started with science diet for my dogs teeth (vet recommend) they loved it. But pet smart cant keep it stocked, then stopped carring it. So I went to another science diet....I went in to get their food (because I was nearly out of food) and the shelves are empty of a lot of science diet, including what we feed our dogs! Im really getting sick of driving in from Belgrade just for food you cant keep stocked! And yes my dog got sick....So thank you pet smart for not keeping up with inventory!

I hate when people complain about their dog still being damp. Dogs that have heavy coats are hard to dry and dogs are not compliant. Nails barley being cut? Do you want them to cut the quick and hurt your dog? The groomers work their butts off and do a wonderful job. Everyone is always friendly there and they go out of their way to help. People that give this store a bad rating need to groom their own dog and see how it goes. The girls are amazing and I honestly trust them whole heartedly. Visit PetSmart with a nice dog and you wont be disappointed.

Have taken our St Bernard puppy twice, once for a bath (took 3 hours) the results were good though. Second time at 5mo we took the puppy in for grooming, after having our vet fax his immunization records. I received a confirmation call from the store too. When we arrived they asked if we had proof of rabies shot which of course we didnt since most vets dont give rabies until 6months, but petsmart requires it at 4! Im not annoyed by the policy itself so much as the employees lack of communication about this policy before we arrived.

Vet service is very expensive. The health insurance policy is even more ridiculous priced. After all was said and done I was paying more for my dogs health insurance than the rest of my family combined. I tried contacting them about canceling the policy and they refused to talk to me. I had to contact my bank and cancel my card. Then when they called they were willing to talk to me. NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO Banfield. If you ever have a dispute you will need to dispute it through your financial institution.

No customer service while I was in the store for 10-15minutes. I wanted to purchase a $200 per containment fence which is locked behind glass doors. Several employees walked by non offered to help. Why are these items behind locked doors I have no idea and if it needs to be that way because of their "high" value then put the items behind the customer service desk!

This Petsmart isnt terrible. But its not amazing either. It has that "Pet store" smell and the floors have Pet stains on them. Have not taken my Pup into this store because she is not yet fully vaccinated and Im worried about the floors. I changed vets because of that "pet" smell. If the clinical environment smells how sanitary can it be?

PetSmart grooming in Bozeman is really great. Weve taken both of our black labs here for all the years the boys have been with us. The grooming staff is always friendly, and they do a great job. Probably the best accolade is that the boys are always eager and happy to go there, so, clearly, their treatment out of our sight is caring.

Nugget has been going to Petsmart her whole life, we have never once been disappointed. Her nails are as short as they can go always. She is always dry, happy and beautiful. Even if she came back damp i know my dog had a great experience with these girls. I trust each and every one of them with my furry friend.

Dont let your employees have their animals if they are just there to mess with your dogs i was in on the 1st of aigust and your manager didnt even care i was in about 730 with my dog and he really wanted to see the dog since she kept coming towards him and the oqner kept snapping at the dog to keep ot there

Went for a cat harness since my cat has a propensity to slip collars. They have a v-neck style of harness that is much safer than a normal collar with connection to belt style of harness Ive found elsewhere. Plus, the staff are very helpful.
